NHL: Hart Trophy Odds for 2021 via FanDuel Sportsbook

With the NHL regular season less than one month away from ending, the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs is right around the corner. Now is the perfect time to place bets on the Hart Trophy (MVP Award).

The NHL always so many tremendous players year in and year out. The talent level in the NHL is the deepest it has ever been. A few of these players that will be on the list have either not won it before or have already won the award a couple of times.

Leon Draisaitl of the Edmonton Oilers won the Hart Trophy last season. It was the first in his NHL career and he is also on the same team as Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers.

It will be interesting to see what kind of stats gets racked up in the final few weeks. With having this mind, who are the three potential favorites to win the Hart Trophy for the 2021 NHL Regular Season?

Connor McDavid -1500

With Connor McDavid being this big of a favorite according to FanDuel Sportsbook, it most likely means that he is going to run away with the Hart Trophy this season. If he were to win it, this would already be his third one and has so many years ahead of him.

McDavid makes so many ridiculous highlight reel plays and goals game-after-game. He is one of the reasons why the Edmonton Oilers are safely in a playoff spot in the North Division (the all Canadian Division) so far this season.

Connor McDavid is the heartbeat of the Edmonton Oilers. Without him, they are usually in trouble.

In 44 games played so far this season, he has scored 24 goals and has recorded 50 assists. His plus/minus is 16. If they were to play an actual 82-game regular season, he would easily get to the 100-point plateau and maybe surpass 130 points.

Auston Matthews +950

Auston Matthews is one of the elite goal scorers in the NHL. If it wasn’t for him, the Toronto Maple Leafs wouldn’t be in first place in the North Division (All Canadian Division). Toronto starts and ends with Matthews.

Mitchell Marner is a nice partner in crime to have with him. However, they have tremendous chemistry with each other. Some people will criticize Matthews’s ability to pass the puck, but his goal scoring is what everyone talks about with him.

Auston Matthews has played in 41 games so far this season for the Maple Leafs. He has scored 33 goals and has recorded 21 assists. His plus/minus is 15.

Matthews is going to win the Hart Trophy one day, but it will most likely not be this year because of Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers. Auston Matthews may actually have the Toronto Maple Leafs get past the first-round this season. That has not happened for Toronto since the 2002 season against the Ottawa Senators in the NHL.

Sidney Crosby +1100

Crosby is going to be a finalist because the Pittsburgh Penguins have had to deal with the most injuries this season and are easily in playoff positioning in the East Division. Pittsburgh is currently in a playoff spot right now because of him

Sidney Crosby continues to get better with age, but some people think he is not the greatest player in the world anymore because of Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers. Crosby is still a force to be reckoned with night in and night out in the NHL.

Evgeni Malkin has missed most of the season due to injury and so have other players. Sidney Crosby has played up to expectations and has one of the best side kick wingers in the NHL in Jake Guentzel.

Crosby has played in 44 games so far this season with the Pittsburgh Penguins. He has scored 17 goals and has recorded 33 assists. His plus/minus is 9.

If I had to bet on the Hart Trophy award: 1. Connor McDavid (EDM), 2. Sidney Crosby (PIT), and 3. Auston Matthews (TOR).
