MLB National League MVP Odds for 2021 Via FanDuel Sportsbook
With the MLB season just a little bit over two weeks in, some teams are already in good positioning and some teams are not where they want to be. From top to bottom, the National League is more competitive than the American League is in the MLB.
Some people believe that some of the better players in the MLB are from the National League and not the American League. The National League may have more interesting postseason races come August and September.
The MLB has been off to a hot start other wise and people have placed bets already for the 2021 National League MVP or have yet to do so. I love writing about sports betting these days and giving different opinions to my readers.
The odds are on FanDuel Sportsbook for the MLB National League MVP. Who are the favorites to win the National League MVP in 2021?
Ronald Acuna Jr. +350
Acuna Jr. is tearing the cover off of baseballs to start the 2021 season. Even though the Atlanta Braves are 5-8 to start the 2021 season, they will get hot and be just fine. Ronald Acuna Jr. is one of the best players in an elite lineup that also features Freddie Freeman and also Ozzie Albies.
Ronald Acuna Jr. is the heartbeat of the Atlanta Braves. He is one of the most electrifying players in the MLB.
Acuna Jr’s batting average so far this season is .442 with seven home runs and 14 RBI’s, along with three stolen bases. His on-base percentage is 492.
Even if the Atlanta Braves don’t make it to the MLB postseason this year, he could be the front runner for the National League MVP also. Their have been several instances where MVP’s were won by players and they didn’t even make it to the MLB postseason.
The Atlanta Braves will be a fun watch in the MLB in 2021 because of Ronald Acuna Jr. Atlanta is usually must watch TV every single night. The Braves will have some competition with the New York Mets and the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League East this MLB season.
Juan Soto +750
Soto and the Washington Nationals are off to a 3-7 start and they are currently in last place in the National League East. Washington has a long way to go this season and they maybe suffering from World Series hangover from 2019.
Juan Soto has a .378 batting average with two home runs and seven RBI’s, along with one stolen base so far this season in the MLB. His on-base percentage is .465. If they make it to the playoffs someway somehow, it will be because of him.
It appears as if the starting rotation of Stephen Strasburg, Max Scherzer, and Patrick Corbin has fallen off a cliff. Trea Turner maybe the only other legitimate threat at the current moment in the Washington Nationals lineup and a rebuild maybe in store for them.
Mookie Betts +750
Betts is the reigning National League MVP. The Los Angeles Dodgers are loaded once again this season. They are off to a 11-2 start after winning the 2020 World Series last season against the Tampa Bay Rays in six games.
Mookie Betts isn’t off to a hot start for his standards, but he is still dangerous. Betts is one of the top stars in the MLB. He has a .323 batting average with two home runs and two RBI’s, along with two stolen bases. His on-base percentage is .447.
Mookie Betts also has other key guys in his lineup like Justin Turner, Will Smith, Cody Bellinger, and Max Muncy. The Los Angeles Dodgers are just a well oiled machine. They also have starting pitchers like Trevor Bauer, Dustin May, Clayton Kershaw, and Walker Buehler.
Los Angeles is going to be dangerous for a very long time because of this lineup. Mookie Betts for the Dodgers in the MLB will be a force once again this regular season in the MLB.
He is one of the reasons why the Los Angeles Dodgers are the favorites to repeat as World Series Champions in 2021.
My favorites to win the National League 2021 MVP in the MLB: 1. Ronald Acuna Jr. 2. Mookie Betts and 3. Juan Soto.
