NFL Draft 2021 FanDuel Sportsbook Over/Under Props
The NFL Draft in 2021 is a few weeks away and bets are coming in like crazy. I have recently shared some FanDuel Sportsbook odds in relation to the 2021 NFL Draft. It has been a different but fun experience writing about sports betting.
I kind of want to give fans a different perspective about the game. I don’t bet on this stuff either, but it is fun to predict where each player is going to land and where their next home will be. The 2021 NFL Draft is going to be a much fun and different exprenice than the 2020 NFL Drafr was.
At least the 2021 NFL Draft will be in Cleveland, Ohio. The 2020 NFL Draft had to be entirely remote and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell had to announce his picks from the basement of his home. It will feel close to normal this year compared to last year.
Over/under seems to be a big thing when it comes to sports gambling. Over/under is another FanDuel Sportsbook prop for the upcoming 2021 NFL Draft. What are some of the 2021 NFL Draft props for the over/under?
DeVonta Smith Over 11.5 (+100)/Under 11.5 (-122)
If this were January and not April, DeVonta Smith would be off the board in the top five. However, since times have changed since then, he is moving down in mock drafts. Some mock drafts don’t have him going until number 11 with the New York Giants.
It is a legitimate possibility he slips past them in the 2021 NFL Draft. The Philadelphia Eagles at number 12 would be the ideal landing spot for him. The New York Giants might be looking else where with the 11th pick in either an offensive lineman or a EDGE rusher.
I would more likely take the over in this situation rather than the under. His teammate Jaylen Waddle is going to be drafted first before him in the 2021 NFL Draft. Smith is a talented wide receiver and it is going to be a very chaotic 2021 NFL Draft.
Kyle Pitts Over 5.5 (+118)/Under 5.5 (-144)
Kyle Pitts might be the second or third best prospect in the 2021 NFL Draft class. Pitts should be a top three pick, but quarterbacks are going to be off the board most likely with the first four picks.
The Cincinnati Bengals own the fifth pick. I think they are either going to go with an offensive lineman or select Joe Burrow’s teammate from college in wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase. I truly believe this will be the first five selections of the 2021 NFL Draft.
That leaves with the Miami Dolphins selecting sixth overall and that is where tight end Kyle Pitts is most likely going to land. I would take the over on this one easily. It honestly isn’t even close how this 2021 NFL Draft is going to shape up here.
I would be shocked to see him be drafted earlier than sixth despite his top five talent. He is the top tight end prospect in a very long time.
Pitts was the heartbeat of the tight end group in college. He made quarterback Kyle Trask good at the University of Florida.
Kyle Pitts is going to make any quarterback better. He would especially make quarterback Tua Tagovailoa better and Pitts would also have Mike Geiscki in the same tight end room as him.
Justin Fields Over 4.5 (-116)/Under 4.5 (-106)
To me, this another easy one. Justin Fields is going to be the fourth quarterback off the board, but he will be the fourth overall pick. The Atlanta Falcons currently own the fourth overall pick, but they will trade the pick to most likely the Denver Broncos.
Denver wants to move on from Drew Lock and Atlanta thinks that Matt Ryan has at least another two good years in him and potentially longer. The 2021 NFL Draft will most likely have a top heavy quarterback draft with some key players at other positions slipping.
Justin Fields is one of the most talented players in the 2021 NFL Draft. He will for sure be drafted in the top five unless Mac Jones of Alabama and Trey Lance of North Dakota State go ahead of him.
It is going to be interesting to see where he lands. Fields I would for sure bet the under. I can also understand the over also because some mock drafts also has him slipping in different places. The 2021 NFL Draft is going to be very interesting within the coming weeks. Their are also some more of these props on the FanDuel Sportsbook website as well here.
