NBA Eastern Conference Championship Odds via FanDuel Sportsbook

The NBA Eastern Conference isn’t as tough as the Western Conference is usually. The east is usually the weaker of the two. The last team a team from the east won the NBA title was in 2018-2019 when the Toronto Raptors took down the Golden State Warriors in six games.

This will be the odds to win the Eastern Conference and not necessarily the NBA Finals. The Miami Heat are the reiging champions from the conference and they have the fourht favorite odds to repeat as champions at +1200.

This means that FanDuel Sportsbook thinks that their are three teams better than the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference. The question is will they repeat or will their be a new champion from the east this season?

Well, it remains to be seen here moving forward. What are the odds to win the Eastern Conference via FanDuel Sportsbook?

Brooklyn Nets -115

This doesn’t come as a surprise because of the talent they have on the roster with Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving. Those three players are rated as the top 15 players in the NBA and some maybe say even the top 10.

Steve Nash is in his first season as the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets, with Mike D’Antoni as the assistant coach. I don’t need to say much about this basketball team because they may have the best offense in the NBA, but they also have one of the worst defenses in the NBA.

Brooklyn will be the overwhelming favorites also to potentially win the NBA Finals this season as well here. It is just a matter of getting it together at the defensive end of the floor and finding the team chemistry together. This would be my first best to win the east.

It would be a sleep walk for them to the NBA Finals potentially and it wouldn’t be a surprise. A potential upset would feel like a shock.

Milwaukee Bucks +300

The Milwaukee Bucks were supposed to win the east last season, but they were bounced in the second-round of the NBA Playoffs against the Miami Heat. Milwaukee has a different vibe this season. They are more of an under the radar kind of them.

They are led by Giannis Antetokounmpo. Khris Middleton is not the second best player on the Milwaukee Bucks anymore and that is a good thing. Jrue Holiday is the second best player on the Bucks this season. He is the glue of this basketball team. Holiday could get them to the NBA Finals.

Some of the other key players for Mike Budenholzer’s squad includes: Donte DiVincenzo, Brook Lopez, Pat Connaughton, Jeff Teague, Bobby Ports, and Bryan Forbes. They are better on the defense end of the floor.

Milwaukee is very good at moving the basketball. They have a chance to play the upset card this season. The Milwaukee Bucks are currently the third seed in the east. I thought they would be behind the Philadelphia 76ers in these rankings. I am a little surprised Milwaukee is ahead of Philadelphia however here as well.

Philadelphia 76ers +600

The Philadelphia 76ers may have the best player on the planet right now in Joel Embiid.

He is the heartbeat of this basketball team. Embiid is also the most important player in Philadelphia.

Everything starts and finishes with him. I still have major questions about Ben Simmons‘s game because I feel like he has reached his potential. Tobias Harris is the second best player on the Philadelphia 76ers.

After those three players, it depends who will show up each and every night. Danny Green, Seth Curry, Matisse Thybulle, Dwight Howard, Shake Milton, and Tyrese Maxey are some of the key role players for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Philadelphia should be one of the favorites to win it all in the NBA this season. It will be interesting to see if the Philadelphia 76ers can make it to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2001, where they lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in five games. Philadelphia is currently the number two seed in the Eastern Conference.

In this order, I would bet on the Brooklyn Nets first, the Philadelphia 76ers second, the Milwaukee Bucks third, the Miami Heat fourth, and the rest of the field fifth.
