NHL Stanley Cup Odds 2021 via FanDuel Sportsbook
The NHL Stanley Cup odds will be either increased or decreased for several teams after the 2021 NHL Trade Deadline. This will be the final time for the regular season that teams will be able to make trades and potentially upgrade the roster for a Stanley Cup title run or sell for the future.
People have already been betting on teams so far this regular season. After Monday’s trade deadline ended, the bets for the 2021 NHL Stanley Cup should be piling in like crazy. It is always the best time of the year and the playoffs aren’t until at least the middle of May.
The east is more loaded than the west is, but the odds for the Stanley Cup are very interesting on FanDuel Sportsbook for the NHL. The NHL always has parity every single year and it is extremely hard to go back-to-back.
The Tampa Bay Lightning are looking to be the first team to go back-to-back since the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2015-2016 and in 2016-2017. Who are the favorites to win the NHL Stanley Cup this season with the oidds?
Colorado Avalanche (+450)
Colorado isn’t a surprise being a top of the list here. They have one of the most dangerous offenses in the entire NHL. It all starts and finishes with Nathan MacKinnon.
He is the heartbeat of the Colorado Avalanche. MacKinnon is a superstar and is one of the faces the entire NHL.
Nathan MacKinnon plays on the top like with Mikko Rantanen. The offense can score at any moment in the game and they also have one of the most underrated bluelines. Cale Makar is the best defenseman on the roster and Samuel Girard, Devon Toews, and Bowen Byram are also good for Colorado.
The biggest issue for the Colorado Avalanche in the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs maybe goaltending. Philipp Grubauer has been inconsistent at various moments this season for Colorado. Jared Bednar is one of the best coaches in the NHL.
Tampa Bay Lightning (+600)
The Tampa Bay Lightning might have the best roster in the entire NHL. Tampa Bay can just plug guys into the line and magic suddenly strikes. Steven Stamkos is one of the best players in the NHL when he is healthy.
Nikita Kucherov should be back for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. He had a hip injury that has sidelined him for the entire 2021 regular season. Kucherov is also one of the best players in the NHL when he is healthy.
Drafting well in year’s past is a result of their team’s success. Tampa Bay will be a tough out once again in the Stanley Cup Playoffs this season. Their odds to repeat is favorable big time.
Vegas Golden Knights (+750)
Vegas is the third favorites to win the NHL Stanley Cup Title this season, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. I don’t like the fact how they are the third best odds to win it all. I think that their are much better teams in the NHL than them.
The Carolina Hurricanes, the Washington Capitals, the New York Islanders, and the Pittsburgh Penguins are better than the Vegas Golden Knights to begin with. All four of those teams would be them in a seven-game playoff series. Vegas may not even get past the first-round because I think they could very well lose to the Minnesota Wild.
Minnesota has given the Golden Knights fits during the regular season and the Wild have a bight future ahead of them. Vegas doesn’t have that go-two goal scorer when the game is on the line. Players like Max Pacioretty, Jonathan Marchessault, William Karlsson, and Reilly Smith are nice to have, but goalie Marc-Andre Fleury can’t bail them out all the time.
Pete DeBeor is a very good head coach, but will it be another postseason failure for the Vegas Golden Knights? Stay tuned. The NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs odds are out and you can check some more information on it on the FanDuel Sportsbook website.
If I had to bet, I would choose the Colorado Avalanche first, then the Tampa Bay Lightning second, I would actually then choose some of the field teams third, and then fourth I would choose the Vegas Golden Knights for the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
