2021 Spring Training: A Look at the Los Angeles Dodgers
Spring Training is upon us and the Los Angeles Dodgers won the World Series in 2020 in six games against the Tampa Bay Rays. Los Angeles trailed in the NLCS 3-1 against the Atlanta Braves and rallied back. The Dodgers have been very successful for nearly the past decade.
It was their first World Series title since 1988 against the Oakland Athletics in five games. Los Angeles will look to go back-to-back and it hasn’t been done since the New York Yankees three-peated from 1998-2000.
The Dodgers will have a major target on their back heading into spring training and this season. Los Angeles will most likely be the favorites to win the National League West and the National League once again this season. The Los Angeles Dodgers will most likely be the favorites to win the World Series title once again.
However, the San Diego Padres are a young and upcoming team heading into spring training. Los Angeles won’t have to worry too much about the Colorado Rockies, the Arizona Diamondbacks, or the San Francisco Giants in the National League West this season.
Dave Roberts will be back once again this season as the team’s manager. It is possible that the Los Angeles Dodgers could very well win over 100 games this season. The roster is stacked and loaded once again from top to bottom heading into spring training.

Betts was a big-time acquisition last season for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He is the heartbeat of this Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team.
This lineup is so loaded that it is really hard to walk anyone. Cody Bellinger is one of the best home run hitters in the game of baseball as well here.
Gavin Lux will be a rookie to keep an eye on during this season. He is going to be a tremendous player. This is a credit to the Los Angeles Dodgers scouting department.
Will Smith is one of the best young catchers in the MLB. Smith is going to cause problems once again for other opponents this season not only with his bat but also behind the plate and trying to throw out runners. We will see how good they could potentially be this season as well here.
Sunday, February 28th: Spring Training first game against the Oakland Athletics.
Thursday, April 1st: Opening day for the Los Angeles Dodgers on the road against the Colorado Rockies.
Friday, April 9th: Los Angeles Dodgers home opener against the Washington Nationals. Los Angeles will also raise the World Series banner from the 2020 regular season also.
