Los Angeles Lakers: LeBron James Continues to Shine

LeBron James is currently in his 18th season in the NBA. The Los Angeles Lakers had another key game on the road on Thursday night against the Milwaukee Bucks. James hit clutch shot after clutch shot in a 113-106 win for Los Angeles over Milwaukee.

LeBron James scored 34 points on 52 percent shooting from the field. He also made six three-pointers, which was also a season-high for him. James also grabbed six rebounds, recorded eight assists, blocked one shot, and recorded one steal.

He continues to play at a very high-level night in and night out despite being in the NBA for so long. This is why LeBron James is one of the greatest players of all-time in the sport of basketball.

He is the heart and soul of the Los Angeles Lakers. As long as James is able to stay on the floor night in and night out, greatness will happen.

LeBron James always makes his teammates around him better. They are not anything special on the offensive side of the floor this season, but they are committed to the defensive end of the floor because of Head Coach Frank Vogel.

James is currently 36 years old. In 16 games played so far this season, he is averaging 24.4 PPG, 7.8 RPG, 7.6 APG, 0.4 BPG, and 0.8 SPG

LeBron James has not been the only one effective on the Los Angeles Lakers so far this season.

Anthony Davis scored 18 points on 44.4 percent shooting from the field. He also grabbed nine rebounds, recorded six assists, blocked two shots, and recorded one steal. The LeBron James and the Anthony Davis duo is probably the best NBA duo in the NBA at the moment.

One of the most underrated players on the Los Angeles Lakers is Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. He scored 23 points. Caldwell-Pope made seven three-pointers. He also grabbed three rebounds and blocked one shot.

Some of the other key players around LeBron James this season are Dennis Schroder. Marc Gasol, Kyle Kuzma, Alex Caruso, and also Montrezl Harrell.

At the current moment, LeBron James may lead this basketball team to back-to-back finals victories. They defeated the Miami Heat in six games last season in the bubble and it was Los Angeles’s first NBA Title since 2009-2010 against the Boston Celtics in seven games.

They are also currently in the first spot in the Western Conference with a 12-4 record this season. The Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles Clippers are both 11-4 and tied for the second spot in the Western Conference.

The Los Angeles Lakers (12-4) next game will be on the road on Saturday night against the Chicago Bulls (6-8).

The Milwaukee Bucks (9-6) next game will be at home on Sunday against the Atlanta Hawks (7-7).
