Buffalo Bills: Reach First AFC Championship Game Since 1994

The AFC Championship Game is something that the Buffalo Bills have not seen in a very long time. Buffalo and Bills Mafia can celebrate as the Buffalo Bills took down down the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday night by a final score of 17-3.

With the Bills leading 10-3 in the third-quarter, the play that sealed the deal for them was a 101-yard pick six by Taron Johnson. This is one of the reasons why the are in the AFC Championship Game this season.

Buffalo wasn’t that great offensively because of how windy it was. They didn’t run the football much either. It didn’t matter much because they advance to the AFC Championship Game.

One of the reasons why they are in this position today is because of quarterback Josh Allen, head coach Sean McDermott, and offensive coordinator Brian Daboll.

Allen completed 23-of-37 passes for 206 yards and one touchdown. He also rushed for three yards on seven carries.

Josh Allen is the heartbeat and the heart and soul of the Buffalo Bills. The way his football game has elevated this season has been nothing but amazement from him.

Allen’s buddy, Stefon Diggs, caught eight passes for 106 yards receiving and a touchdown. He has been a great acquisition from the Minnesota Vikings via trade this past offseason.

This also deserves a lot of credit to general manager Brandon Beane.

Defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier deserves a ton of credit for having this defense buckled up and ready to go. They held the Baltimore Ravens offense to three points. Lamar Jackson and the running game was limited.

This is another reason why the Buffalo Bills are in the AFC Championship Game. They have been one of the best NFL teams all season long. Buffalo is one of the most craziest, but they are also one of the fun fan bases in the entire NFL.

Time to Shine

The Buffalo fanbase deserves this moment. One of the reasons why they deserve it is because they have suffered for so long. Buffalo will be here for a very long time and they went to four straight Super Bowls in the 1990s and they lost all four of them.

They hope to change things in the immediate future. Buffalo is going to continue to stay disciplined. The Bills don’t want to stop this journey now and they want to keep on marching and going. Buffalo fans are excited for this AFC Championship moment and why should they want to stop now?

They hope to be playing in Super Bowl LV in Tampa Bay, Florida, at Raymond James Stadium, on February 7th, 2021. It will be interesting to see whether or not the Buffalo Bills can make it to that destination.

The Baltimore Ravens (12-6) season concludes.

The Buffalo Bills (15-3) will go on the road and face the Kansas City Chiefs (15-2) in the AFC Championship Game.
