Baltimore Ravens: Defensive Line Stymied Tennessee Titans

The Baltimore Ravens defensive line dominated in the football game against the Tennessee Titans. It was one of the reasons why Baltimore took down Tennessee by a final score of 20-13.

Marcus Peters picked off Ryan Tannehill with under two minutes remaining in regulation. The interception occurred because Kalif Raymond slipped on the play. The entire Baltimore Ravens defense went to the logo and celebrated on it. They received a 15-yard taunting penalty for their actions.

The Baltimore Ravens defensive line did well enough in this football game today. Calais Campbell and Yannick Ngakoue both had tremendous games for Baltimore in this football game.

Bad News for Titans

They held Derrick Henry to 40 yards rushing on 18 carries. He also caught three passes for 11 yards receiving.

Ryan Tannehill completed 18-of-26 passes for 165 yards one touchdown and one interception. He also rushed for six yards on two carries.

The defensive line controlled the line of scrimmage all game long for the Baltimore Ravens against the Tennessee Titans.

Defense Runs Wild

Baltimore’s defensive line is the heart and soul of this defensive unit. It controlled the line of scrimmage all game long.

The offense did just enough in this football game to get it done also. They trailed 10-0 in the first-quarter. Lamar Jackson completed 17-of-24 passes for 179 yards and one interception. He also rushed for 136 yards on 16 carries and a touchdown.

J.K. Dobbins rushed for 43 yards on nine carries and a touchdown. He is one of the better running backs in the NFL. Dobbins has gotten better with more reps and it doesn’t matter to him.

Marquise Brown caught seven passes for 109 yards receiving. He was the best offensive weapon on the outside for Baltimore.

Final Takeaways

It looked like it was going to be another postseason let down against the Tennessee Titans, but the Baltimore Ravens never gave up. These two teams don’t like each other very much and it will be a very heated rivalry for years to come. It is too bad they don’t play each other next season.

Head coach John Harbaugh definitely outcoached Tennessee Titans Head coach Mike Vrabel. This was one of the major differences in this football game.

The other football difference in this game was the Baltimore Ravens (12-5) defensive line. They didn’t allow to get the Tennessee Titans going on offense.

If the defensive line can play like this moving forward, they could go to the Super Bowl. However, they will face the Buffalo Bills on the road next Saturday.

The Tennessee Titans (11-6) season concludes. They will have a lot of questions to answer this offseason. Tennessee needs to hire a defensive coordinator and fix up things, even though they sacked Lamar Jackson four times.
