Green Bay Packers: All Things Go Through Lambeau Field
The Green Bay Packers just needed a win on the road in order to clinch the number one seed. The Chicago Bears were hot heading into this football game. However, Green Bay made it easy for them against Chicago by a final score of 35-16.
Aaron Rodgers was once again sensational and he is the reason why the Packers was the number one seed in the NFC this season. Rodgers completed 19-of-24 passes for 240 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed for four yards on one carry.
Aaron Rodgers is the heart and soul of the Green Bay Packers. Rodgers is most likely going to win the MVP Award this season over quarterback Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Aaron Jones rushed for 42 yards on 11 carries and a touchdown. He also caught four passes for 43 yards receiving. Jones has been one of the better running backs in the NFL this season and maybe he will get a long-term contract from the Green Bay Packers.
AJ Dillon did not play this week even though he had a breakout game last week against the Tennessee Titans at home in the snow.
Jamaal Williams rushed for 26 yards on five carries. He played well in this football game.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling caught two passes for 87 yards receiving and a touchdown. He has a case of dropping passes. Valdes-Scantling could be one of the reasons why Green Bay loses in the playoffs.
Davante Adams caught six passes for 46 yards receiving and a touchdown. He is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.
Robert Tonyan caught two passes for 18 yards receiving and a touchdown. He was a breakout star this season at the tight end position. Tonyan should have been a Pro Bowler.
Allen Lazard caught two passes for 17 yards receiving. He needs to be the primary number two wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers in the playoffs if they want to win the Super Bowl.
Dominique Dafney caught a 13-yard touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers in the second quarter. This is what makes Rodgers so good. He can throw to anyone and drafting quarterback Jordan Love sparked his MVP-like play this season.
The Green Bay Packers did well enough this season with Head Coach Matt LaFleur and Defensive Coordinator Mike Pettine.
Green Bay (13-3) will have a first-round bye. They hope to be representing the NFC in the Super Bowl (LI) at Raymond James Stadium, in Tampa Bay, Florida, on Sunday, February 7th.
As for the Chicago Bears (8-8), they will be the seventh seed in the NFC and be on the road against the New Orleans Saints (12-4) in the first round of the playoffs. Chicago is in because the Arizona Cardinals (8-8) lost to the Los Angeles Rams (10-6) 18-7.
