NBA: The 2020-21 Season Begins Tonight

The NBA Regular Season will begin on Tuesday night and there will be a lot on the line in the upcoming 2020-2021 season.

The first two games of the 2020-2021 season will be featured on TNT on Tuesday night. The first game will be the Golden State Warriors and the Brooklyn Nets with tip-off set for 7:30 p.m. ET.

Golden State Warriors vs Brooklyn Nets

This game will be Stephen Curry vs Kevin Durant. Durant is facing his former team and this will be his first game back from the torn Achilles since Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals with the Golden State Warriors against the Toronto Raptors.

Kevin Durant won two NBA titles and two NBA Finals MVP’s with the Golden State Warriors. They were back-to-back champions against the Cleveland Cavaliers both of those seasons.

Durant is the heartbeat of the Brooklyn Nets. He will look to contribute a lot to this basketball team and club this season.

It will be interesting to see how well he does with Joe Harris, Caris LeVert, Spencer Dinwiddie, Kyrie Irving, and others this season.

Steve Nash will be the first-year head coach for the Brooklyn Nets. Mike D’Antoni will serve as an assistant head coach after being let go by the Houston Rockets in the offseason.

Golden State will not have Draymond Green for this game and they will not have Klay Thompson either this season due to a torn Achilles. Thompson had not played since Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors at home. He tore his ACL and has not played ever since.

Steve Kerr is still around as the head coach for the Golden State Warriors.

I have a feeling that the Brooklyn Nets will take down the Golden State Warriors easily by a final score of 114-96.

Keep an eye on rookie James Wiseman and also second-year players Eric Paschall and Jordan Poole for Golden State.

Los Angeles Clippers vs Los Angeles Lakers

In the second game, it will be the Los Angeles Clippers and the Los Angels Lakers. The Lakers will be the home team and they will be raising the championship banner.

Anthony Davis and LeBron James will look to go back-to-back. The Los Angeles Lakers have not gone back-to-back since 2009 and 2010 against the Orlando Magic and the Boston Celtics.

Los Angeles defeated the Miami Heat in six games. Some peopled think that this basketball team is better and deeper than it was last season under Head Coach Frank Vogel.

The Clippers will have Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. Tyronn Lue is the next head coach after they fired Doc Rivers. Los Angeles blew a 3-1 series lead against the Denver Nuggets last season in the second-round also (semifinals of the NBA playoffs).

I have a feeling that the Los Angeles Lakers will take down the Los Angeles Clippers by a final score of 121-116.
