San Francisco 49ers Need Jimmy Garoppolo for Life
The San Francisco 49ers had their slim playoff hopes still alive on the road against the Dallas Cowboys. Dallas took down San Francisco by a final score of 41-33 and it goes to show how much the 49ers miss Jimmy Garoppolo.
Nick Mullens is not the answer for San Francisco. A lot of people were talking about him being the potential future quarterback for this football team and once again it goes to show that he is not the answer moving forward.
Mullens completed 21-of-36 passes for 219 yards two touchdowns and two interceptions. He also rushed for seven yards on one carry.
Nick Mullens always seems to turn the football over every single game and it also in key situations as well.
The 49ers still have very good players on the roster. Raheem Mostert rushed for 68 yards on 14 carries.
Jeff Wilson Jr. rushed for 60 yards on 16 carries and a touchdown.
Kendrick Bourne caught four passes for 86 yards receiving and a touchdown.
Brandon Aiyuk caught nine passes for 73 yards receiving and a touchdown.
Richie James caught four passes for 56 yards receiving.
Jordan Reed caught two passes for 18 yards receiving and a touchdown.
He has done a very nice job of replacing George Kittle so far this season. Kittle is also one of the most important players on the offensive side of the ball for San Francisco.
Despite all of the injuries to this bunch, it is still a very good football team.
This proves that the quarterback room and Jimmy Garoppolo is the heart and soul of this football team. The San Francisco 49ers need him healthy moving forward.
He will be under contract for the next two seasons and they should sign him to a lifetime contract until he retires. Jimmy Garoppolo is 29 years old. They were a play or two away from winning the Super Bowl last season against the Kansas City Chiefs.
San Francisco needs to make Garoppolo their quarterback for the rest of his lifetime in the NFL.
Head Coach Kyle Shanahan and General Manager John Lynch need to do whatever it takes to keep him around this franchise forever.
The San Francisco 49ers will most likely be the Los Angeles Rams of two years ago when Los Angeles made it to the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots and lost and then are bouncing back this season.
Maybe this is what San Francisco will hope for in 2021. The odds are if the Arizona Cardinals (7-6) takes down the Philadelphia Eagles (4-8-1), Arizona will have officially eliminated the San Francisco 49ers from the postseason.
The San Francisco 49ers (5-9) will be on the road against the Arizona Cardinals (7-6) this upcoming Saturday afternoon.
The Dallas Cowboys (5-9) will host the Philadelphia Eagles (4-8-1) next Sunday.
