Tampa Bay Buccaneers: A Look Ahead vs Minnesota Vikings
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are coming off a bye week. They have lost the previous two games to the Los Angeles Rams and Kansas City Chiefs. So that brings up the relationship between Tom Brady and Bruce Arians is going the wrong way. Arians says that everything is ok. The reason that it was brought up is that the offense has not played well in the last few games. The Buccaneers have a 7-5 record and with four games left. All four games are winnable in my opinion.
The defense has also not been what it was in the first half. The young secondary has been exploited because the pass rush has not been there. Hopefully, the break will help them get back to early-season success. Tampa Bay will need to come together in the final four games. All of the fans want to see the playoff drought end.
The Vikings currently sit at 6-6 on their season. They are coming off an overtime win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The same Jaguars that only have one win. The Vikings have a chance to make the playoffs this year but they also have to try and win out in their final four games. They have the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week followed by the Chicago Bears, New Orleans Saints, and finish with the Detroit Lions. Kirk Cousins has been solid and Dalvin Cook has returned to the dominant back he was known for. The defense has been the problem with a young secondary similar to that of Tampa Bay. The Vikings will have a challenge if they cannot stop Brady and the passing attack the Buccaneers have. If the Bucs can keep Cook at bay it will be a long game for Minnesota.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are coming off a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The score in that game was closer than the game was. The Bucs found themselves down quickly 17-0. They were able to get within a field goal until Brady threw an interception that ended the game. I believe the week off will help end the two-game losing streak that they are currently on. Brady will find a way to get back to form and the Buccaneers should be able to score 30 or points on the Vikings defense. Tampa Bay defense if they provide some pass rush will force Minnesota out of their game. This defense has stopped good backs and will be tested with Dalvin Cook. This is a must-win game for the Bucs as they try to keep in the playoff picture.
This game is important to both teams. For the Minnesota Vikings, they have to win out to have a shot at the postseason. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers do not want to miss the playoffs and cannot afford to lose too many more games. Both teams have big wins during the season for the Vikings they beat the Green Bay Packers. The Buccaneers have also beat the Packers and Las Vegas Raiders in back to back weeks. Kickoff is set for 1 PM EST at Raymond James Stadium. Let us see how the game turns out.
