Fantasy Football: Week 11 Start ‘Em and Sit ‘Em

Welcome back fans of the NFL. Here we are back for another year of fantasy football. It is time to get those lineups set and chase down that money. That is if you are playing for money. Here at IroniqMedia, we do not bring you the heavy starters. You should not need any help starting those players. We bring you the players that you may have questions about starting or sitting. Thus, without further ado, here are your week ten starts and sits.

Bye Week – San Francisco 49ers, New York Giants, Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears

Quarterback

Start: Alex Smith – Washington Football Team

Smith threw for over 300 yards again last week. It was the first time in his career that he had thrown for back-to-back 300-yard games. The only bummer was that Smith did not throw for a TD. This week we hope that Smith finds the end zone against the Cincinnati Bengals. They are a defense that has allowed 10 passing TDs over the last month.

Sit: Drew Lock – Denver Broncos

Lock has been a streamer over the past couple of weeks. However, he has not been very strong. His slow starts have been hurting him. A week eleven matchup against the Miami Dolphins does not play in his favor. Brian Flores has his team playing at a very high level. I expect them to shut down the Broncos offense on Sunday.

Running Back

Start: Nyheim Hines – Indianapolis Colts

Hines has been a stud this season. A fantasy matchup on the horizon with the Green Bay Packers plays in his favor as well. Their defense has been very friendly as of late. Allowing the 4th-most receiving yards to RBs over the last month. Look for Hines to be productive in this one.

Sit: Ronald Jones – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Rojo is coming off a solid performance in week 10. Nonetheless, he is a sit on your fantasy team in week 11. Mainly because the Bucs are facing the Los Angeles Rams. The defense of the Rams is extremely tough on RBs. They have allowed the 4th-fewest FPPG to the position this season. Tampa is going to have a tough sled on Monday and that is why we are keeping Jones on the bench.

Wide Receiver

Start: Tee Higgins – Cincinnati Bengals

Higgins was an amazing draft pick by the Bengals. They have probably one of the steals of the 2020 NFL Draft. He has turned into an every-week starter on your fantasy team. This week his matchup is against the Washington Football Team. Higgins should find some success although Washington is number one against the pass.

Sit: Henry Ruggs III – Las Vegas Raiders

Ruggs, when healthy, can be explosive. Back in week five, against the Kansas City Chiefs, Ruggs had 2 catches for 118 yards and a TD. That TD was on a 72-yard strike. Look for the Chiefs to have a better game plan against the speedy wide out on Sunday Night. Thus, making our decision to keep the Las Vegas WR on our fantasy bench.

Tight End

Start: Dallas Goedert – Philadelphia Eagles

Goedert should be a solid fantasy start this week against the Cleveland Browns. Carson Wentz loves the young TE. Unless you have one of the top five TEs in the league, you are streaming them from week to week. Wentz is one of the top TE target passers. Thus, Goedert is a good fantasy stream this week.

Sit: Trey Burton – Indianapolis Colts

Burton is a STRONG fantasy sit this week. The Packers do not play nice to opposing TEs. Their defense has only allowed one passing TD to the position this season. That is what is keeping us away from putting Trey Burton in our fantasy lineup in week 11.

Defense

Start: Miami Dolphins

Their week 11 opponent, the Denver Broncos, is allowing the most fantasy PPG to opposing defenses. That makes this is an easy call for your squad in week 11.

Sit: Indianapolis Colts

The Colts have been a great defense all season. However, the offense of the Packers makes me stay away from the Colts this week. They are starting to get their stride. There are better streams for this week that you may want to consider.

Sleepers

Offense: Taysom Hill – New Orleans Saints

Taysom Hill is expected to get the start on Sunday vs the Atlanta Falcons. This will be Hill’s first NFL start at QB. However, in most league’s he is listed as a TE and thus you could stream him and another QB. This would most advantageous to your fantasy team.

Defense: Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers have a very friendly fantasy matchup against the New York Jets. The Jets are allowing the 3rd-most fantasy PPG to defenses on the season. In saying that, streaming the Chargers is a great opportunity to see a double-digit output this week. Especially if you count on the Buffalo Bills or Chicago Bears as your defense.

There you have it; your week eleven fantasy starts and sits for the 2020 NFL Season. We are going to be here for 16 weeks. We hope to help you win some games during that time.
