Tampa Bay Buccaneers: A Look Ahead to the New York Giants

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers come into week eight off another big win. This was coming on the road against the Las Vegas Raiders. The game resulted in a 45-20 win. This was the second complete game that Tampa Bay played. The last two have been great to watch with dominating wins other than the Green Bay Packers and Las Vegas Raiders. The defense stopped a great and good quarterback. Aaron Rodgers after the first quarter was confused and against Derek Carr, it was the same. Tom Brady and the offense is starting to click. This comes after only scoring 19 points just two weeks against the Chicago Bears. Brady and Gronkowski are starting to look like they did when they were New England together. Many will consider this game coming up a trap game as they get a prime time Monday night game against the New York Giants.

New York Giants

The Giants come into week eight with a 1-6 record. It has not been good so far for the Giants. Both the Jets and Giants are having seasons that they would like to forget. The Jets do not have a win in 2020. The biggest problem has been that they have not been able to protect Daniel Jones. They have also lost Saquon Barkley for the rest of the year. The Giant’s only win was two weeks ago against the Washington Football Team. They came close to beating the Philadelphia Eagles but in the end, found a way to lose the game. This week they have a tall order. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are good in all three facets of the ball which spells trouble for the Giants. Maybe they can repeat what they did last year against the Buccaneers.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are or could be the best team in the NFC right now. They beat the Green Bay Packers 38-10. The Las Vegas Raiders did not fare well either losing 45-20. Tampa Bay is just a couple of weeks away from adding Antonio Brown. We all know Brown has been cancer for other teams but let us see how he fits with the Buccaneers. This was a request that many says was from Tom Brady. Brown will help since Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are not at 100%. Godwin will not play against the Giants because of a broken index finger. The running game and young secondary have not been any issues. Tampa will and should have a dominating game against the lonely Giants. They need to make sure not to look ahead to the New Orleans Saints the following week.

Look for players like Tom Brady and Jason Pierre Paul to make sure the rest of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers do not look ahead to a rematch with the New Orleans Saints. The New York Giants have a tall task ahead of them. Daniel Jones will be seeing many Tampa Bay players coming after him. The Giants defense will have their hands full trying to stop an offense that has been unstoppable the past two weeks. What happened a year ago with New York came here will not happen this time. Jameis Winston made too many mistakes that cost the Buccaneers the game. This will be either a blowout game or it will be close.
