Fantasy Football: Week 6 Start ‘Em and Sit’Em

Welcome Back fans of the NFL. Here we are back for another year of fantasy football. It is time to get those lineup set and chase down that money. That is if you are playing for money. Here at IroniqMedia, we do not bring you the heavy starters. You should not need any help starting those. We bring the players that you may have a question starting or sitting. Thus, without further ado here are your week six starts and sits.

Bye Week – Los Angeles Chargers, Las Vegas Raiders, Seattle Seahawks, and New Orleans Saints

Start: Ryan Fitzpatrick – Miami Dolphins

Last week Fitzpatrick and the Dolphins carved up the San Francisco 49ers. This week they have a very favorable matchup against the New York Jets. Fitzpatrick had 350 yards passing against a 49ers defense that usually ranks near the top. He should see the same successes against the Jets.

Sit: Teddy Bridgewater – Carolina Panthers

“Teddy Two Gloves” is quietly having a very good year. The Panthers are currently in a tie for first with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints in the NFC South. However, I would sit Bridgewater in fantasy this week against a Chicago Bears defense that ranks 10th against the pass.

Running Back

Start: Kareem Hunt – Cleveland Browns

Hunt should take over the lead role with Nick Chubb being out with an injury. The Browns have a solid running attack and that should help ease your mind on starting Hunt for your fantasy team. Take his six TDs and start him with confidence this week.

Sit: Rex Burkhead – New England Patriots

Burkhead has been seeing around 40% of the touches for the Pats. Nevertheless, that does not mean he does not take a seat against the Denver Broncos. The Broncos defense is allowing the fewest points to RBs this season and have only allowed one TD.

Wide Receiver

Start: Jamison Crowder – New York Jets

Crowder is the lone weapon for Adam Gase and the Jets’ offense. He is playing at a very high level right now. In the three games, he has played this season, Crowder is averaging 10 targets, 7 receptions, and 100 yards per game. He is a fantasy dream right now.

Sit: Deebo Samuel – San Francisco 49ers

I hate to say it but the 49ers are a mess. Last week against the Dolphins, they only had 173 passing yards. This week they play a Los Angeles Rams team that is playing some of their best defense under Sean McVay. I do not see much fantasy success for Samuel again this week.

Tight End

Start: Jimmy Graham – Chicago Bears

Graham ranks as the 10th TE among fantasy scorers this season. He is averaging just over 14 PPG in the past 2 weeks. A game on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers should add to that total. The secondary of the Panthers is tough on the outside so Nick Foles should see a lot of opportunities to hit Graham.

Sit: Rob Gronkowski – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Gronk is quickly heading to the fantasy waiver wire. His reuniting with Tom Brady has not been the show everyone expected. Looks for that to continue this week against the Green Bay Packers. The Packers are one of the top defenses against TEs in the young season.

Start: Washington Football Team

They had a slow start against the Los Angeles Rams in week 5. Then they kicked it in gear in the second half. They should have a strong fantasy week against the New York Giants in week 6. Pressure on Daniel Jones will breed turnovers. This defense could also see a high sack output a well.

Sit: Buffalo Bills

Buffalo was exposed a little on Tuesday against the Tennessee Titans. If Tre’Davious White is not in the lineup, their secondary is weak. Look for Patrick Mahomes, Eric Bieniemy, and the Kansas City Chiefs offense to have a field day against this Bills defense.

Offense: Deshaun Watson, QB – Houston Texans

Watson is coming off his best performance of the season. He is historically a good QB against the Tennessee Titans. That should continue this week when the two teams face each other. The Titans are also coming off a short week which may play into Watson’s success.

Defense: Miami Dolphins

It is scary thinking of starting the Dolphins defense. Nonetheless, we are going forward with them as a fantasy sleeper in week 6. The Jets are a dumpster fire waiting to explode. Adam Gase is probably sitting on the hottest bed that any coach has been on. The Dolphins will make the bed hotter.

There you have it, your week six starts and sits for the 2020 NFL Season. We are going to be here for 16 weeks. We hope to help win some games during that time.
