NBA Title Odds for the 2021 Season

The NBA season is officially over. The Los Angeles Lakers won their 17th NBA title in franchise history on Sunday night against the Miami Heat by a final score of 106-93 in Game 6.

This was the first time since 2010 they won it all. LA beat the Boston Celtics in seven games during that season’s NBA Finals.

Los Angeles won it all for their fans and others this season especially for Gianna Bryant, Kobe “Bean” Bryant, family, and others though.

With the NBA bubble in the rearview mirror, what are the odds for the 2021 NBA Title?

The Los Angeles Lakers are the favorites to repeat next season with a betting line of +380.

The Los Angeles Clippers have the second-best odds to win it all next season at +460.

The Milwaukee Bucks have the third-best odds to win it all next season at +640.

The Boston Celtics have the fourth-best odds to win it all next season at +1300.

The Golden State Warriors have the fifth-best odds to win it all next season at +1400, despite all of the injuries to Steph Curry and Klay Thompson this past season.

The Miami Heat have the sixth-best odds to win it all next season at +1500. This team went on a deep run with Jimmy Butler and other very good role players. They will look to add another superstar in the offseason though.

The Denver Nuggets, the Houston Rockets, and the Toronto Raptors are at +1600 odds to win the 2021 NBA Finals. Denver should be higher on this list and Houston should be lower. Toronto may be just right though.

The Dallas Mavericks are at +2000 odds to win it all next season. Things could change if the roster is upgraded around Luka Doncic though.

The Philadelphia 76ers and the Portland Trail Blazers were both listed at +2400 to win the 2021 NBA Title.

The Utah Jazz are +2500 odds to win the 2021 NBA Title.

The New Orleans Pelicans are +3000 odds to win it all next season. Zion Williamson could carry this team to the playoffs next season depending on what happens though.

The Phoenix Suns are at +3500 odds to win the 2021 NBA Finals. Devin Booker and company went 8-0 in the bubble and they could be a surprise team in the Western Conference to make the playoffs next season.

The Atlanta Hawks, the Chicago Bulls, the Indiana Pacers, the Memphis Grizzlies, and the Oklahoma City Thunder have +5500 odds to win it all next season.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have +7000 odds to win it all next season. If there can be more help around Karl-Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell, their odds could go up a little bit.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, the Detroit Pistons, the New York Knicks, the Orlando Magic, the Sacramento Kings, the San Antonio Spurs, and the Washington Wizards have +8000 odds to win it all next season.

The Charlotte Hornets have +10000 odds to win it all next season.

The Brooklyn Nets don’t have any odds listed for some reason on yahoo.com, but they are one of the favorites next season to win it all because of the return of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving though.

The Los Angeles Lakers are looking to go back-to-back for the first time since 2009 and 2010 (The Orlando Magic in ’09 and the Boston Celtics in ’10).

The last time an NBA team went back-to-back was the Golden State Warriors in 2017 and in 2018 against the Cleveland Cavaliers both times though.

Lebron James is the heartbeat and the heart and soul of the Los Angeles Lakers though nonetheless. We will see how it goes moving forward though nonetheless.

My five favorite teams to win it all next season is the Golden State Warriors, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Denver Nuggets, the Los Angeles Clippers, and the Brooklyn Nets.

Anthony Davis will be on a mission now and will hit free agency.
