The Atlanta Falcons Need to Fire Dan Quinn

The Atlanta Falcons lost to the Green Bay Packers 30-16 on Monday night football on the road at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Atlanta is now 0-4 on the season. Is it time for them to fire Dan Quinn?

I think it is, but the final straw should be if they lose to the Carolina Panthers (2-2) at home on Sunday. A lot of people thought that Carolina was going to be one of the worst teams in the NFL and they are building an immediate culture down their with Matt Rhule as the head coach.

Maybe that is what Atlanta needs in a new head coach. This team can’t play defense or hold onto leads. Maybe the Falcons just need a new voice in their and a change of pace. This team started 1-7 last season and finished the season 6-2 and it was obviously a fluke.

Atlanta has one of the best offensive personnel’s in the NFL with Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, Hayden Hurst, Todd Gurley II, and others.

This offense is the heartbeat of this football team. It is going to be interesting to see what this offense would do without Dan Quinn.

Their has only been one team in NFL History to make it to the playoffs after an 0-4 start. The 1992 San Diego Chargers were that team to do it.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-1), the New Orleans Saints (2-2), and the Carolina Panthers are all ahead of them in the NFC South Standings though.

The New York Giants, the New York Jets, and the Houston Texans are the three other teams in the NFL that have yet to win a game this season though.

Some of the potential replacements for the Atlanta Falcons job whenever Dan Quinn gets fired is Eric Bieniemy (KC Offensive Coordinator), Lincoln Riley (OU Head Coach), and Brian Daboll (BUF Offensive Coordinator).

The Atlanta Falcons have been massively underachieving since losing Super Bowl LI against the New England Patriots and blowing that 28-3 lead at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.

Will Atlanta win a game in their own stadium at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, on Sunday, or is it going to officially be the end of Dan Quinn?

With Bill O’Brien officially being fired as the head coach of the Houston Texans and the general manager of that team, the Atlanta Falcons are the next team on the clock to make a coaching firing. Owner Arthur Blank is officially on the clock.

This team has missed the playoffs the last couple of seasons though. This team should be a lot better than it actually is and they haven’t made the playoffs, unfortunately. Their fan base has been restless recently though.

This team has more than enough talent to be a playoff contender and also a Super Bowl contender, but expectations have been extremely low recently for the Atlanta Falcons though.
