Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Dallas Mavericks?
The Milwaukee Bucks will most likely not come back from a 0-3 deficit against the Miami Heat, despite winning Game 4, 118-115 in overtime. During that game, Giannis Antetokounmpo suffered a sprained ankle. He was helped off the floor in the second quarter.
Antetokounmpo had to shoot two free throws before he exited or he would have not been able to re-enter the game though.
It is very doubtful that Giannis Antetokounmpo returns for Game 5. I don’t see them winning Game 5 without him and Khris Middleton‘s performance was fools gold.
Antetokounmpo scored 19 points. He shot 80 percent from the field. Giannis Antetokounmpo also grabbed four rebounds, blocked one shot, and recorded one steal.
Khris Middleton scored 36 points. He shot 42.9 percent from the field. Middleton also grabbed eight rebounds, recorded eight assists, and recorded two steals.
A trade that could work for the Dallas Mavericks and the Milwaukee Bucks is that Dallas would acquire Giannis Antetokounpo. Milwaukee would acquire Maxi Kleber, Dorian Finney-Smith, Delon Wright, Dwight Powell, and a few first-round picks.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is also potentially going to be with the Miami Heat or the Toronto Raptors as well next season.
Antetokounmpo is the heart and soul of the Milwaukee Bucks. It would be tough if Milwaukee lost him next offseason.
He already won the Defensive Player of the Year Award. Giannis Antetokounmpo is most likely going to win his second consecutive MVP Award. The last time someone won back-to-back MVP’s was Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors in 2015 and 2016.
During the regular season, Antetokounmpo averaged 29.5 PPG, 13.6 RPG, 5.6 APG, 1 BPG, and 1 SPG, in 63 games though.
He is only 25 years old though. Giannis Antetokounmpo is about to enter the prime of his career. It is also possible that he could be traded to the Golden State Warriors. Golden State could use the number two overall pick and use it as a trade chip. They could use it and also players Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole, Eric Paschall, Damion Lee, and Marquise Chriss for him.
Anyways, I think Giannis Anteotokounmpo to the Dallas Mavericks would make the most sense. He is also rumored to maybe go play for the New York Knicks when he hits free agency after next summer in 2021, but the odds are he is going to want to play somewhere in order to win a championship though.
It would be better for the Milwaukee Bucks to acquire some players back in a trade and not lose him for nothing.
In the trade with Dallas, Dorian Finney-Smith averaged 9.5 PPG, 5.7 RPG, 1.6 APG, 0.5 BPG, and 0.6 SPG, in 71 games played during the regular season though.
