Milwaukee Bucks Top the Philadelphia 76ers

The Milwaukee Bucks currently have the best record in the NBA and the Philadelphia 76ers were in the midst of a three-game losing streak heading into Thursday night. Milwaukee thumped Philadelphia at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin by a score of 112-101.

Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to be amazing for the Milwaukee Bucks. He scored 36 points. Antetokounmpo also shot 52 percent from the field. He also grabbed 20 rebounds, recorded six assists, and recorded one steal.

Khris Middleton scored 20 points. He also shot 47.1 percent from the field. Middleton also grabbed seven rebounds and recorded three assists.


Eric Bledsoe scored 14 points. He also shot 42.9 percent from the field. Bledsoe also grabbed eight rebounds, recorded six assists, and recorded two steals.

Their bench scored 30 points. Robin Lopez scored nine of them. He shot 50 percent from the field. Lopez also grabbed three rebounds, recorded one assist, and blocked two shots.

Donte DiVincenzo scored eight points off the bench for the Bucks. He shot 66.7 percent from the field. DiVincenzo also grabbed seven rebounds and blocked one shot.

Tobias Harris led the way for the 76ers with 25 points. He shot 43.5 percent from the field. Harris also grabbed seven rebounds, recorded four assists, and recorded one steal.

Joel Embiid scored 19 points. He shot 23.1 percent from the field. Embiid also grabbed 11 rebounds, recorded six assists, and blocked one shot. This might have been the worst game he has played all season long.

Al Horford scored 15 points. He shot 29.4 percent from the field. Horford also grabbed six rebounds, recorded one assist, and recorded one steal.

Ben Simmons only scored 11 points. He shot 83.3 percent from the field. Simmons also grabbed 14 rebounds, recorded nine assists, blocked one shot, and recorded two steals.

Shake Milton started in place of Josh Richardson once again because Richardson currently has a wrist injury and it is unknown when he will return to the lineup and Philadelphia misses him desperately.

Milton scored eight points. He also shot 50 percent from the field. Milton also grabbed four rebounds, recorded three assists, and recorded one steal.

Their bench scored 23 points. Furkan Korkmaz scored 12 of them. He also shot 33.3 percent from the field. Korkmaz also grabbed three rebounds and recorded one assist.

Matisse Thybulle scored five points. He shot 66.7 percent from the field. Thybulle also grabbed one rebound, blocked two shots, and recorded two steals. He continues to be a pest on the defensive end of the floor so far this season for the Philadelphia 76ers.

The biggest lead in this game for Philadelphia was seven points.

The biggest lead in this game for Milwaukee was 17 points.

The number one thru sixth seeds in the Eastern Conference is separated by 13.5 games. The Bucks are currently the number one seed, the Toronto Raptors (37-14) are currently the two seed, the Boston Celtics (35-15) are currently the third seed, the Miami Heat (34-16) are currently the fourth seed, the Indiana Pacers (31-20) are currently the fifth seed, and the 76ers are currently the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference.

Philadelphia needs to fix things as soon as possible or Head Coach Brett Brown will be out of a job.

The trade deadline was on Thursday, February 6 at 3 p.m.

The Philadelphia 76ers made a couple of small moves as they acquired guard Alec Burks and guard/forward Glenn Robinson III from the Golden State Warriors for three second-round picks (2020 Dallas Mavericks, 2021 Denver Nuggets, and 2022 Toronto Raptors).

Philadelphia also traded away James Ennis III to the Orlando Magic for a 2020 second-round pick that was originally the Los Angeles Lakers.

The 76ers (31-21) will play their next game at home on Friday night against the Memphis Grizzlies (26-25).

Milwaukee (44-7) will play their next game on the road on Saturday afternoon against the Orlando Magic (22-30).
