Los Angeles Clippers Edge the Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Clippers theme seemed to be on Christmas Day at the Staples Center as the road against the Los Angeles Lakers was to bend but never break. The Clippers should have been put away but they never were.

They had a 109-106 lead with 3.6 seconds remaining in regulation. It appeared as if the Lakers were going to keep the ball on that possession, but Patrick Beverley‘s block on Lebron James from the three-point went off of Lebron instead of Beverley and it was shown on instant replay.

Because of it, Paul George made two free throws with 1.9 seconds remaining to ice the game for the Los Angeles Clippers and they have beaten the Los Angeles Lakers for the second time this season by a score of 111-106.
