Green Bay Packers Win Snow Football Battle Against New York Giants

Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Sunday afternoon between the Green Bay Packers and the New York Giants turned into a snow football game. The stadium felt empty and it was filled with more Green Bay fans than New York fans.

The Packers took down the lowly Giants in the game by a score of 31-13.

Aaron Rodgers threw an 8-yard touchdown pass to Devante Adams in the first-quarter for Green Bay.

Daniel Jones threw an 18-yard touchdown pass to Sterling Shepard on the next drive for New York. Jones completed 20-of-37 passes for 240 yards one touchdown and three interceptions. He also rushed for six yards on five carries.

Daniel Jones played through an ankle injury in this game according to Head Coach Pat Shurmur. He has been an embarrassment all season long. Shurmur has made players regress.

Shepard caught three passes for 40 yards receiving and a touchdown.

Kaden Smith was the leading receiver in this game for the New York Giants with six receptions for 70 yards receiving.

Saquon Barkley was the leading rusher in this game for New York with 83 yards rushing on 19 carries. He also caught three passes for 32 yards receiving.

Later in the first quarter, Allen Lazard caught a 37-yard touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers. Lazard finished with three receptions for 103 yards receiving and a touchdown.

With Green Bay leading 17-13 entering the fourth quarter, Aaron Rodgers threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to Davante Adams. Adams finished with six receptions for 64 yards receiving and two touchdowns.

Marcedes Lewis caught a one-yard touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers later in the fourth quarter. Rodgers completed 21-of-33 passes for 243 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed for 24 yards on three carries.

Aaron Rodgers had no pressure in his face all game long.

The touchdown reception was Lewis’s only reception in the game.

Jamaal Williams was the leading rusher in this game for the Green Bay Packers with 41 yards rushing on 10 carries. He also caught four passes for 26 yards receiving.

As Aaron Rodgers, he gave some words of encouragement to Daniel Jones at the end of the game. Rodgers told him that there are going to be good and bad days and that he is going to be in the NFL for a long time to come.

Do you want to know who won’t be in the NFL for a long time to come? How about Pat Shurmur and his coaching staff and also General Manager Dave Gettleman. This franchise is an ugly mess right now.

Cornerback Janoris Jenkins called out Defensive Coordinator James Betcher after the game. Jenkins wants to follow people and he is only playing on one side of the ball.

The Green Bay Packers are in good hands when it comes to playoff positioning. They will still be a top of the NFC North Division Standings for at least another week.

The New York Giants are one step closer to getting the number one pick. They have never gotten the number one pick in franchise history.

The Cincinnati Bengals (1-11) took down the New York Jets (4-8) by a score of 22-6. The Washington Redskins took down the Carolina Panthers (5-7) by a score of 29-21. The Miami Dolphins (3-9) took down the Philadelphia Eagles by a score of 37-31.

New York needs to fire everybody at the end of the season and oh, I hope that Owner John Mara is happy with this pitiful football team on his birthday.

Green Bay (9-3) will host the Washington Redskins (3-9) next Sunday.

The Giants (2-10) will be on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles (5-7) next Monday night.
