Cleveland Browns Take Down Pittsburgh Steelers; Myles Garrett Ejected

In the final seconds of a 21-7 win by the Cleveland Browns over the Pittsburgh Steelers, emotions escalated. Mason Rudolph tried to take off Myles Garrett‘s helmet. Garrett took offense to it and he decided to take Rudolph’s helmet and smack him in the head with it.

David DeCastro and Maurkice Pouncey also got involved in the brawl for Pittsburgh. Pouncey and Garrett received ejections from the game. The other player that was ejected in the scrum for the Browns was Larry Ogunjobi.

It is going to be interesting to see how long some of these players get suspended. Rudolph deserves a game or two for starting it. Garrett deserves to be suspended for the rest of the season and more. Ogunjobi and Pouncey may or may not get suspended.

DeCastro may face a suspension, but he will most likely get a fine at the most. This is going to be a big day for legal people and Roger Goodell.

If Goodell drops the ball with this, it is time for him to announce his resignation as commissioner of the NFL.

A lot of people think that Myles Garrett committed assault with this move. Players inside the Pittsburgh Steelers locker room want to see him suspended for the rest of the season. We will see how serious Roger Goodell is about the player’s safety.

Baker Mayfield spoke to Erin Andrews of FOX after the game was over. Mayfield seemed disgusted with the way how everything unfolded. He showed true leadership in that moment.

In the first quarter, Baker Mayfield scored on a 1-yard rushing touchdown.

Mayfield threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to Jarvis Landry in the second quarter. Baker Mayfield completed 17-of-32 passes for 193 yards and two touchdowns. He rushed for one yard on one carry and a score.

Landry caught four passes for 43 yards and one touchdown. Odell Beckham Jr. was the leading receiver in this game for Cleveland with four receptions for 60 yards receiving.

Nick Chubb rushed for 92 yards on 27 carries.

Kareem Hunt only rushed for 12 yards on six carries. He also caught six passes for 46 yards receiving.

In the third-quarter, Damarious Randall was ejected for a late hit on Diontae Johnson. Doctors ruled Johnson out with a concussion.

JuJu Smith-Schuster also suffered a concussion for Pittsburgh and he did not return to the game as well.

Mason Rudolph threw a 3-yard touchdown pass to Jaylen Samuels in the third-quarter for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Rudolph completed 23-of-44 passes for 221 yards one touchdown and four interceptions. He also rushed for 15 yards on two carries.

Samuels was the leading rusher in this game for Pittsburgh. He rushed for 26 yards on five carries. Jaylen Samuels caught five passes for 19 yards receiving and a touchdown.

James Washington was the leading receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He caught three passes for 49 yards receiving.

Juju Smith-Schuster caught two passes for 21 yards receiving.

Diontae Johnson caught two passes for 17 yards receiving.

In the fourth quarter, Baker Mayfield threw an 8-yard touchdown pass to Stephen Carlson.

It will be interesting to see what happens moving forward. These two teams will play again in Week 13 in Pittsburgh at Heinz Field.

Pittsburgh was the sixth seed in the AFC entering this game. Cleveland will now look to make noise moving forward.

The Pittsburgh Steelers (5-5) will be on the road next Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals (0-9).

The Cleveland Browns (4-6) will host the Miami Dolphins (2-7) next Sunday.
