New York Jets Take Down the New York Giants; Fire Everybody

The matchup on Sunday afternoon featured two of the worst teams in football in the New York Giants and the New York Jets at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The Jets were able to find a way to win in this game by a score of 34-27.

The New York Jets lost to the Miami Dolphins last week and the New York Giants should utterly be embarrassed and it might be time to clean house this franchise again.

Head Coach Pat Shurmur, Offensive Coordinator Mike Shula, Defensive Coordinator James Betcher, and General Manager Dave Gettleman all have to be fired during the bye week or after the regular season.

The Giants need a culture change in their organization. They need to hire a guy like Jim Harbaugh or Lincoln Riley. Mike McCarthy would also be a good fit for this time. They need a general manager who understands personnel other than drafting.

This franchise has been an embarrassment for a long time. This was once a proud franchise. Other than Daniel Jones, Saquon Barkley, and a few other players, this team needs football players.

The New York Jets jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter on a Sam Darnold 2-yard touchdown run and a 23-yard touchdown pass to Jamison Crowder.

Darnold completed 19-of-30 passes for 230 yards and one touchdown. He also rushed for 25 yards on three carries and a touchdown.

Crowder finished with five receptions for 81 yards receiving and a touchdown.

Demaryius Thomas was the leading receiver for the Jets with six receptions for 84 yards receiving.

Daniel Jones threw two touchdowns to Darius Slayton in the second-quarter for the New York Giants on a variety of five yards and 39 yards (missed 2-point conversion on the second one).

Slayton finished with 10 receptions for 119 yards receiving and two touchdowns.

At the start of the third-quarter, Saquon Barkley did not block Jamal Adams and because of it, Adams stripped sacked Daniel Jones and Adams recovered it for a 25-yard touchdown for the New York Jets.

Daniel Jones responded on the next drive by throwing a screen pass to Golden Tate and he took it 61 yards for a touchdown (missed extra-point).

Jones threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Tate later in the third-quarter (Daniel Jones 2-point conversion to Bennie Fowler.

Daniel Jones completed 26-of-40 passes for 308 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed for 20 yards on three carries.

Golden Tate caught four passes for 97 yards receiving and two touchdowns.

Saquon Barkley rushed for one yard on 13 carries. He also caught five passes for 30 yards receiving.

With the Jets trailing 27-24 to start the fourth-quarter, Le’Veon Bell scored on a 1-yard touchdown run. He rushed for 34 yards on 18 carries and a score. Bell also caught four passes for 34 yards receiving.

A lot of New York Giants fans are not happy about losing this game. Giants Owner John Mara has become very spineless when it came to not speaking with the media after the game. He is responsible for this mess.

The Giants (2-8) will enter the bye week. They will then face the Chicago Bears (4-5) on the road in Week 12 on Sunday, November 24.

The Jets (2-7) will be on the road against the Washington Redskins (1-8) next Sunday.
