Staff members will pick the games each week and give you a reason behind their pick. Therefore, without further ado, here are the picks for week seven.

Anthony Fiuza – Staff Writer

Kansas City Chiefs vs Denver Broncos: Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill bring enough firepower against the Denver ‘D’. Broncos don’t score much.

KC wins

Oakland Raiders vs Green Bay Packers: Aaron Rodgers should have enough protection in this one, meanwhile Derek Carr will be under pressure.

Packers beat Oakland

Los Angeles Rams vs Atlanta Falcons: In a game that features some of the best NFL offensive talent, it’s hard to imagine Atlanta’s defense shutting down Cooper Kupp, Brandon Cooks and Robert Woods.

Rams win.

Houston Texans vs Indianapolis Colts: Deshaun Watson should connect with DeAndre Hopkins a lot in this game.

Texans grab the W.

San Francisco 49ers at Washington Redskins: Case Keenum won’t have much time against Dee Ford and the Niners ‘D’.

San Fran wins.

Minnesota Vikings vs Detroit Lions: Detroit’s Kenny Golladay won’t have an easy day against Xavier Rhodes or Trae Waynes.

Vikings win.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs Cincinnati Bengals: Jags just traded Jalen Ramsey, but they should still have enough against this pathetic Cincy team.

Jags win a close one.

Arizona Cardinals vs New York Giants: Kyler Murray and David Johnson should make enough plays against New York’s defense.

Cards take the road win.

Los Angeles Chargers vs Tennessee Titans: LA wants to get back in the win column and might be able to do it with Ryan Tannehill starting for the Titans.

Bolts win.

New Orleans Saints vs Chicago Bears: I know Teddy Bridgewater has played well for New Orleans, but Khalil Mack and the Bears ‘D’ will be hard to beat at home.

Chicago grabs the W.

Miami Dolphins vs Buffalo Bills: Miami won’t have the playmakers to help Ryan Fitzpatrick against a tough Buffalo defense.

Give me the Bills.

Baltimore Ravens vs Seattle Seahawks: Seattle at home is a difficult matchup for anyone and with Russell Wilson playing great this NFL season. It makes sense for them to win this one. Lamar Jackson struggles to throw again for Baltimore.

Hawks win.

Philadelphia Eagles vs Dallas Cowboys: Dak Prescott and Tavon Austin could exploit that bad Eagles’ secondary.

Boys win.

New England Patriots vs New York Jets: I know Sam Darnold looked good last week, but the Jets are facing a better NFL team this week. Pats defense continues to roll.

Pats win again.

Thursday

Chiefs at Broncos

The Chiefs are trending down while the Broncos are trending up. However, Kansas City wins this game on Thursday night football.

Sunday

Dolphins at Bills

Buffalo keeps Miami winless with a win at home.

Jaguars at Bengals

The Jaguars deal the Bengals another loss on the NFL season.

Vikings at Lions

Minnesota stays hot offensively with a key divisional win over the Detroit Lions.

Rams at Falcons

Both the Rams and Falcons need a win in this game. The home team prevails in the Peach State on Sunday.

Texans at Colts

Deshaun Watson leads the Texans to a win over the Colts. As an aside, make sure you start Watson in fantasy.

49ers at Redskins

Washington’s win streak ends at one game as the 49ers stay hot.

Cardinals at Giants

The NY Giants earn a key win against the lifeless Cardinals.

Chargers at Titans

The LA Chargers find a way to win as the Titans continue to have QB issues.

Saints at Bears

New Orleans finds a way to win another game with the backup QB under center.

Ravens at Seahawks

Baltimore wins on the road against Seattle to continue their lead in the AFC North.

Eagles at Cowboys

In Sunday night football, the Eagles defensive unit holds on enough against the Cowboys. Carson Wentz scores a late touchdown to head home with a big win.

Patriots at Jets

Monday night football sees the Patriots win another divisional game against the Jets.

Kansas City at Denver

> Denver – the Broncos have played well of late. Last year, the game in Colorado went down to the wire, so I will make the Broncos my upset pick this week. Denver now has some tape on Patrick Mahomes after recent Kansas City games.

Los Angeles Rams at Atlanta

> Los Angeles Rams – the NFL season has gone south of late for both organizations, but I trust the Rams more than the Falcons at this point. Los Angeles has a more pleasant experience this week in the building where they lost last February.

Miami at Buffalo

> Buffalo – the Bills had a week to prepare after slowing down Tennessee the week before. The defense should be able to slow down Miami Sunday afternoon.

Jacksonville at Cincinnati

> Jacksonville – the Bengals will get their chance to get their first win of the NFL season, but I don’t think it’s this week. Jacksonville bounces back after a tough loss last time out.

Minnesota at Detroit

> Minnesota – I think for Detroit because of the short week and the way the game went, it would not surprise me if the Vikings jump on them and have their way.

Oakland at Green Bay

> Green Bay – the Packers build on the controversial victory with a better showing at Lambeau Field. Oakland has had a solid season, but hard to see them winning up there.

Houston at Indianapolis

> Indianapolis – I was very impressed with Houston’s big road win. Both the Texans and Colts have an opportunity to seize first place in the AFC South with a win this weekend. I still feel that the Colts have the Texans number.

Arizona at New York Giants

> New York Giants – despite recent struggles, I think New York is able to bounce back knowing that no one is running away with the NFC East. Road games are pretty tough for first-year quarterbacks and head coaches so Arizona will come up short in their bid for three straight wins.

San Francisco at Washington

> San Francisco – A cross-country flight will not make much difference. The 49ers defense has played great. They don’t need that many points to beat Washington in this game, so San Francisco wins comfortably.

Los Angeles Chargers at Tennessee

> Tennessee – the Chargers are always hard to figure out, and after losses to Denver and Pittsburgh, I think the slide continues. The Titans need to keep pace with Indianapolis and Houston. Tennessee dusts themselves off after being shutout last week.

New Orleans at Chicago

> New Orleans – I expect a physical low-scoring game. I expect Teddy Bridgewater to take care of the football and keep feeding Alvin Kamara at Soldier Field in a close game.

Baltimore at Seattle

> Seattle – for the second straight week, the Seahawks play an AFC North team. I think Russell Wilson may need another big fourth quarter to go 4-0 against said NFL division, but he and the team will prevail.

Philadelphia at Dallas

> Dallas – the Cowboys are itching to get back on the field to atone for their defeat against a previously winless Jets team. Philadelphia has not been great away from Lincoln Financial Field.

New England at New York Jets

> New England – somehow I think this might be a closer game with Sam Darnold coming back, but the Patriots get the offense cranked up this week to help compliment their stout defense.

Chiefs at Broncos

The Broncos win a close AFC West battle.

Broncos Win

Dolphins at Bills

Buffalo stay in the hunt for the AFC East.

Bills Win

Jaguars at Bengals

Minshew magic returns in Cincy.

Jags Win

Vikings at Lions

Kirk Cousins may have hit his stride.

Vikings Win

Raiders at Packers

Raiders are surprising. However, Packers are one of the best this season.

Packers Win

Rams at Falcons

Falcons are struggling. However, so are the Rams. I think Sean McVay recovers.

Rams Win

Texans at Colts

A good old fashioned AFC South battle. Deshaun Watson and company are hot.

Texans Win

49ers at Redskins

49ers have one of the best defenses in the. Redskins, not so much.

49ers Win

Cardinals at Giants

Two teams going along the same path. Giants get Saquon Barkley back.

Giants WIn

Chargers at Titans

I think that the Chargers defense will do just enough against Ryan Tannehill to get the win.

Chargers Win

Saints at Bears

This is going to be the best game of the weekend. I like the defense of the Bears to come out on top.

Bears Win

Ravens at Seahawks

Lamar Jackson is tough to stop, even the road. That holds true again.

Ravens Win

Eagles at Cowboys

Can the Cowboys recover from three straight? I think the Eagles take over the NFC East this weekend.

Eagles Win

Patriots at Jets

The Patriots are playing some of the best football I have ever seen them play. Jets are better with Darnold but not that good.

Patriots win
