NFL Bold Predictions Entering the League’s 100th Season

With the 100th NFL season set to kick off on Thursday night September 5 between the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears, there will most likely be another fun season ahead of us.

The New England Patriots won Super Bowl LIII against the Los Angeles Rams 13-3. New England hopes to win its seventh Super Bowl title in franchise history this season.

For the past few years, I have done bold predictions for each NFL team heading into the regular season. What are the bold predictions for each team this season?

NFC

New York Giants

They will have a very young secondary and it will grow into one of the better units in the NFL.

Philadelphia Eagles

They will have one of the worst rushing offenses once again this season.

Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys miss the playoffs and Jason Garrett is not retained as head coach.

Washington Redskins

They will finish with the worst record in the NFC with the lack of talent they have on the offensive side of the ball which will cause the defense to get tired.,

Green Bay Packers

They will finish in last in the NFC North Standings because of potential issues with quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Head Coach Matt LaFleur.

Minnesota Vikings

Stefon Diggs will have the most receiving yards in the NFL.

Chicago Bears

Khalil Mack breaks Michael Strahan‘s 22.5 sacks record.

Detroit Lions

They will finish with a Top 10 defense.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

They will go from worst to first in the NFC South.

Atlanta Falcons

They will have one of the worst defenses again this season and it will cause Dan Quinn to lose his head coaching job.

Carolina Panthers

No wide receiver reaches 700 receiving yards.

New Orleans Saints

Alvin Kamara will have more receptions than most wide receivers in the NFL.

Seattle Seahawks

This will be the first season Russell Wilson doesn’t play in all 16 games because of a poor supporting cast around him.

San Francisco 49ers

They will have a Top 10 offense in the NFL with quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo back and a very underrated group of skill players around him.

Los Angeles Rams

Jared Goff throws for the most yards.

Arizona Cardinals

Kyler Murray doesn’t even reach 3,000 passing yards in his rookie season.

AFC

New York Jets

Sam Darnold will throw the most interceptions in the NFL.

Buffalo Bill

Josh Allen doesn’t throw 10 interceptions and he also takes a monster step in his second season.

New England Patriots

Sony Michel rushes for 1,200 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Miami Dolphins

Josh Rosen does not start a game for them in 2019.

Pittsburgh Steelers

JuJu Smith-Schuster takes a monster step backward with the absence of Antonio Brown. Smith-Schuster doesn’t even reach 90 total catches but he barely eclipses the 1,000-yard mark.

Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore only wins no more than five or six games because of the horrendous play of Lamar Jackson.

Cincinnati Bengals

Head Coach Zac Taylor fixes up Andy Dalton and he throws for 4,500 yards and 30 touchdowns.

Cleveland Browns

Baker Mayfield wins the MVP Award season in his second season.

Indianapolis Colts

They will have the best record in the AFC during the regular season.

Jacksonville Jaguars

They get their defensive swagger back and become a Top 10 defense.

Tennessee Titans

Ryan Tannehill will start mores games than Marcus Mariota, and they will have to search for a quarterback in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Houston Texans

They didn’t do enough to improve the roster in the offense to be considered a playoff team this season.

Kansas City Chiefs

Their defense will steal a couple of games this season with a new scheme in place with Defensive Coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.

Los Angeles Chargers

Philip Rivers will take a step backward this season.

Oakland Raiders

Antonio Brown will have a lot of boom or bust games this season.

Denver Broncos

Bradley Chubb and Von Miller each record 15.5 sacks this season.
