Fantasy Football: Which NFL Rookies Will Make an Impact in 2019?

The NFL Draft is almost one week old and teams are already preparing for the 2019 season. Fantasy football fans are already preparing for the 2019 season. Which rookies can make an impact in fantasy this season?

Detroit Lions tight end T.J. Hockenson will make a fantasy football impact this season. He was the eighth overall pick and Hockenson could be Matthew Stafford‘s top target this season. Hockenson could very well be useful in PPR leagues.

Denver Broncos tight end Noah Fant will make an impact this season. He was the 20th overall pick. When Joe Flacco was successful in Baltimore, he used the tight end often. Fant will be a reliable target for him.

Oakland Raiders running back Josh Jacobs will be another rookie that will make an impact this season. He was the 24th overall pick. Jacobs will be the three-down back in Oakland and he will see the field a ton.

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Marquise Brown will be another rookie that will make an impact this season. With Baltimore releasing Michael Crabtree, Brown could very well become the number one receiver come Week 1. Lamar Jackson doesn’t have a great arm, but a lot of slant routes could turn into touchdowns.

New England Patriots wide receiver N’Keal Harry will be another rookie that will make an impact this season. Harry will most likely be the number two or three receiver and Tom Brady loves throwing to receivers in the slot.

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel will be another rookie that will make an impact this season. His speed will help him separate from defenders and San Francisco doesn’t have a true number one receiver right now.

Minnesota Vikings tight end Irv Smith Jr. could steal reps from Kyle Rudolph in a hurry come training camp. Smith Jr. might be drafted in the later rounds in a fantasy football league, but he will be a hot waiver wire pickup at some point during the season.

Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown has tremendous footwork and he will be the second receiver behind Corey Davis. Brown will get his catches and he also has breakaway speed.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman could be seeing a heavy dose of play time during his rookie season because of Tyreek Hill‘s off the field issues.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Parris Campbell could make a name for himself in a hurry because he is playing with Andrew Luck. They also don’t have a very strong receiving core.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf is known for his speed. Russell Wilson will find a way to get him the ball.

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson was taken in the third round. Pittsburgh has a knack for finding receivers in the draft. Johnson could become their number two or three receiver immediately.

Los Angeles Rams running back Darrell Henderson might see more snaps than people think this season. Todd Gurley has some knee issues and Henderson could be a workhorse in the backfield.

Chicago Bears running back David Montgomery could be the Week 1 starter because of the departure of Jordan Howard.

Buffalo Bills running back Devin Singletary could split snaps in the beginning of the season for Buffalo. If they are out of contention early on, the Bills could trade LeSean McCoy and make Singletary the full-time three-down running back.

Houston Texans tight end Kahale Warring could become the number tight end for Deshaun Watson at the start of the season.

I didn’t have any quarterbacks on this list because I don’t see Daniel Jones or Dwayne Haskins starting at all this season. I don’t think Kyler Murray will be very good and he will struggle because of his size.
