Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Five Games to Watch in 2019

The NFL schedule for 2019 just came out a few days ago. For some teams, the schedule is a nightmare and others it is a walk in the park. The fans of some of these teams the question is why NFL? If you look the defending Super Bowl champions that have the 30th ranked strength of schedule. Most fans should say they should have one of the toughest. The reason being is that if they are a good team to win it all they should be able to go through a tough schedule the next year. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are one of those teams that has a nightmare schedule after finishing 5-11 last year. Here are 5 games to watch in 2019.

Week 4 – Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams are the defending NFC Champions. They couldn’t find their game against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 53. This is a team that scores points and hold opponents to very few. This will be an early test for Bruce Arians and his team. If the Buccaneers can fill the holes on their defense during the draft it will help but the offense will need to put up points.

Week 8 – Tennessee Titans

Every time these two teams match up about the draft. They continue to compare Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota. The comparison will be who has the better career and while didn’t the teams take the other guy. The Titans were a surprise last year. They beat the New England Patriots. Look for this to be a good game for both teams.

Week 10 – Arizona Cardinals

This will be a matchup for Bruce Arians. This will be against his former team. Now, this will be the first time that the Buccaneers see Kyler Murray. That is if the Cardinals draft him with the first pick in the NFL draft. This game will be maybe some revenge for Arians. In a way telling the Cardinals he could still be a coach and that is healthy will not get in the way?

Week 9 – Seattle Seahawks

This game we will see the highest paid player in all the NFL. Russell Wilson has indeed earned it. This will also be a revenge game for the Seahawks. In fact, I was at the game at Raymond James Stadium a few years back and was surprised at the result. Look for this game to also be a back and forth affair.

Week -16 Houston Texans

The Texans have been a team that is tough no matter who they play. They match up well against the Buccaneers. Their defense will be a true test for the Buccaneers new offense. Their defense of the Bucs will be tested by Deshaun Watson and company. He can make things happen whether in the passing game or with his legs.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers season ticket holders are upset because they only have 7 homes games at Raymond James Stadium. The other home game will take place in London against the Carolina Panthers!

Some teams made the right picks others left us wondering why. The New York Giants and Oakland Raiders were two of those that had us scratching our heads.
