The East-West Shrine Game: A Look Inside the College All-Star Classic

The East-West Shrine game is a game that ends the college football season. This will be the 94th time this game will be taking place. The game will be on Saturday, January 19, 2019. It will take place at Tropicana Field also the home of the Tampa Bay Rays. This will be a chance for players to show off their skills in front of NFL coaches and scouts. Many NFL players played in the game. Here is my preview for the 94th East-West Shrine game.

The players that were invited to play in this game will have one last chance to impress NFL scouts. All week they will be getting coaching from NFL position coaches to help them. These players are from both sides of the ball. They come from schools all over the country. Some of these players will go early in the NFL draft why others will go in the later rounds. Some people have said this game is irrelevant. The player’s response to that is no it isn’t it’s our game and our chance to shine.

East-West Shrine is more than a game!

The game is more than a game. This game is put on for a great cause. This game helps the Shriners Hospital all over the country help children. These children have medical conditions that their loved ones may not be able to afford. The children and the players are the stars for the game. The game begins with a banquet that is the night before on the 18th. This is a great cause with the game that helps players and children.

Many players will take the game to stand out. These players may have not been the first-string guys and played behind a potential first or second-round pick. The players are looking for a chance to show they can play at the next level. Most of the players are not big names. These players did help the big names have good seasons. They played big roles for their respective universities.
