Florida Gators: The Good, Bad and Ugly

The Florida Gators finally got back in the win column. It would come against the South Carolina Gamecocks. They would also rub salt in the wounds in beating former head coach Will Muschamp. Coming into the game both the Gators and Gamecocks had the same record. Now, the Gators can focus on the rest of their season. Here is the good bad and ugly from their game against the Gamecocks.

The Good

The win finally comes. The Gators have lost their last two games. Now, many of their fans thought this would be a good year. It has been for them it wasn’t going to be a college football playoff appearance. The Gators are well on their way and moving in the right direction. Dan Mullen will be able to get the right guys in place, and the Gators will be back to be a dominant team in the SEC East.

The Bad

Feleipe Franks had a good game. Now many fans have pointed the finger at him for the offense and Gators losses. He was being booed by the fans in the Swamp. He scored a touchdown and put his finger to his mouth to tell them to be quiet. This was probably not the right thing to do. He should have just continued to play out the season and show it on the field. The SEC schedule for the Gators is over they now have Idaho and in-state rival the Florida State Seminoles. He needs to have a strong finish and take the bad taste out of the mouths of Gator nation.

The Ugly

The fans booing at the Swamp. The fans need to relax and let this good season end. There have been high and low points. The losses against the Wildcats, Bulldogs, and Tigers have been the lows. If the fans want to call the injury to Kyle Trask another low, they could count it. It isn’t good to boo your quarterback when it all his fault. This team won together and lost together. So moving forward Gators fans don’t boo just cheer for your Gators and make the Swamp a scary place to play.
