New England Patriots: 3 Things to Watch in Week 7
The New England Patriots come into week 7 with three straight wins. Last week they at the knocked off the then-undefeated Kansas City Chiefs. It would take yet another good overall game by the Patriots. Many were questioning is this finally the year the Patriots are fading. The answer to that is a no. So far, they have looked good the last three games. They have a tall task this week as they will be playing the top defense in the league with the Chicago Bears. Here are three things to watch as the Pats face the Bears.
1. How will Brady do against the Bears defense
The Bears come into the game tied in turnovers with the Cleveland Browns with 16 total. Khalil Mack, since coming over from the Oakland Raiders, has made the Bears so dynamic. The New England Patriots are starting to click on offense. With Julian Edelman back, the Patriots look like the offense of old. Rookie running back Sony Michel is showing why he was picked by New England. The Pats couldn’t run the ball in the first few weeks now it has gotten so much better. The Patriots will need that balance to beat Mack and the Bears defense.
2. How will the Bears do after their bye week
The Bears are coming off their bye week. They lost a tough one to the Miami Dolphins in overtime. The Patriots defense will make Mitch Trubisky work. The Pats defense looked good against Patrick Mahomes but almost gave it away. This will not happen again this week. The Bears will have a tough go if they can’t score their defense will keep them in it.
3. How will the New England Patriots do after the close win against the Chiefs
The Patriots would use what has made them great to overcome the Chiefs. The Patriots would use their offense to find themselves in field goal range at the end. The defense looked good but almost gave it up. The Patriots have looked great in the last three games. It seems like they always do they find their groove in October. Look for them to carry it over against the Chicago Bears.
This game will feature one of the best offense in the game against the best defense. The big question is which one will come out on top. The Bears will be at home most teams aren’t used to the cooler weather that will not be a problem for the Patriots. Look for the Patriots to adjust against the Bears defense. Look for the Bears to have a somewhat a let down after their bye week. The Patriots will continue to use what they have from the last three games.
