NFL: Three Teams on Upset Alert in Week Two
Week two of the 2018 Season started with some excitement on Thursday Night in Cincinnati. In less than 24 hours, 28 more teams take the field for their second attempt on this young NFL season. Many teams are looking to pick up where they left off in week one. While other teams are looking to make a name for themselves this season. Several teams are favored to win big in week two. Each week I am going to look at three teams that should be on upset alert. Here we go with week two.
Last week the Tampa Bay Buccaneers put up 48 points. The Eagles were only to scrape together 18 points. This game is going to come down to the QB that makes fewer mistakes. Right now, my confidence is on Ryan Fitzpatrick in that category. I could see this game being another high scoring affair with the Bucs winning it.
Are the New York Jets for real? They looked like it last week against the Detroit Lions. The Dolphins were apart of the longest game in NFL history after dealing with two weather delays. Can the Dolphins defense solve the Jets offense? Better yet, can the Dolphins offense solve the Jets New Jack City defense? If Ryan Tannehill can avoid the turnover they have a chance. This could become one of the better games of the week.
The Seahawks go on the road again in week two. They head to Chicago to face the Chicago Bears on Monday Night. I look for the Bears defense to be all over this Seahawks offense. I would expect that the snap count for Khalil Mack will be gone. It proved ineffective in week one.
Meanwhile, the Seattle offense could not stop the defense of the Denver Broncos. The Bears defense is just as good. Two start your season against two top 10 defenses makes it hard to get going in a season.
These are the three biggest teams that face upset possibilities in week two of the 2018 NFL Season. Week two brings us another great slate. I hope you enjoy.
