WWE Money in the Bank: Was the B-Team the right option to challenge for the tag titles
On WWE RAW, we would see the B-Team (Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas) win a tag team Battle Royal for a shot at the Raw Tag Title at Money in the Bank. The Battle Royal saw The Revival, Fashion Police, The Ascension, Titus Worldwide, Beauty and the Man-Beast (Heath Slater and Rhyno), the B-team, and the team of Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre compete. It may have been a surprise to many people who saw Axel and Dallas end up winning. However, the way the tag team division on RAW has been booked it shouldn’t have come as a surprise.[JonBlayneAds]
For whatever reason, the WWE doesn’t want to give the Fashion Police, the Revival, The Ascension, Titus Worldwide, and the Beauty and the Man-Beast any sort of push. In addition, there has been no sighting of Authors of Pain for some reason. Meanwhile, everyone wants the WWE to push the team of Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre. Although, it seems that they are fully behind Drew McIntyre. Thus I suspect that he will break off from Ziggler soon. Once that happens, expect McIntyre to get a major push to the top.
When people think of Axel and Dallas now, they basically think jobbers. They forget that Axel was a former IC Champion and Dallas was a former NXT Champion. If the WWE is going to have Wyatt and Hardy drop the belts to Axel and Dallas, I suspect that somehow this leads to the Authors of Pain going for the titles at SummerSlam. I don’t see the B-Team being great champions and at best I see them being transitional champions. Truthfully, I wouldn’t be overly shocked if Axel and Dallas were to win the titles. Since Wyatt and Hardy won the tag titles, they really haven’t done anything memorable with them.
