WWE: How the impending John Cena/Undertaker WrestleMania match should be booked
While most of the WWE fanbase will hate the idea, it seems we are heading towards the Undertaker taking on John Cena at WrestleMania 34 in April. Over the last few weeks, there have been hints made in John Cena’s promos that would make it feel that something will happen. An example of this was shown on Monday’s episode of RAW when John Cena said, “It’s WrestleMania season and it could bring back guys from the dead.” So now that it seems more than likely that these two are set to collide at WrestleMania 34, the next step is how do we get to that point.
Various sites have reported that most of the WrestleMania angles will come to the forefront after the Elimination Chamber. My idea would be a tease for Elimination Chamber and the RAW. I am not sure where the Men’s Elimination Chamber match will be on the card. Nonetheless, let us say it closes out the show. As you have the final four guys in Finn Balor, John Cena, Braun Strowman, and either Elias or Seth Rollins. All of a sudden we see the lights go out and the famous gong sound. You would see the WWE fans jump because you think Undertaker is back. However, the lights come back on and it was no one. However, Finn Balor pins John Cena as he becomes confused.
Now to the next night on RAW. John Cena opens up by saying that he isn’t sure that he will be at WrestleMania 34 because he lost the Elimination Chamber. As he is saying this, we see the lights go out again like the previous night. However, Undertaker appears in the ring, the two stare down and Cena grabs the microphone. He says to Undertaker, “The fans have waited for us to clash at the grandest stage”. He goes on by saying,”Since I don’t have a WrestleMania opponent, why don’t we tango in the Big Easy”. However, the stipulation put on this match is that the loser has to retire from the business.
