Los Angeles Clippers Trade Blake Griffin To Pistons for Harris, Bradley and Picks
The Los Angeles Clippers traded power forward Blake Griffin and Willis Reed to the Detroit Pistons for Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley, Boban Marjanovic, a first and second-round pick. Safe to say; the rebuild is alive and well for the Clippers.
Update: The Clippers and Pistons have agreed on a deal to trade Blake Griffin for Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley, Boban Marjanovic, a first-round and a second-round draft pick, per @wojespn.

Griffin has spent his entire 7-year career in the NBA with the Clippers and has averaged 21.6 points and 9.3 rebounds while shooting 51 percent from the floor. Reed, on the other hand, is in his first year with the Clippers after spending his rookie season with the Brooklyn Nets and last year with the Miami Heat. For his career, Reed has averaged 5 points and 3.9 rebounds while shooting 59 percent from the floor.
For the Pistons, they gave up Harris who averaged 18.1 points and 5.1 rebounds while shooting 45 percent from the field this season. Along with Harris, the Clippers will get Bradley who is averaging 15 points while shooting 41 percent from the floor. Marjanovic will give the Clippers another option in the backcourt as he has provided the Pistons with 6.2 points while shooting 39 percent from the floor.
The big addition to this deal is the draft picks. The Clippers will also get a first and second rounder in which they can provide some stability for their future. With the Clippers struggling and rumors heating up about a possible DeAndre Jordan trade, the Griffin move was a bit unexpected. However, it also adds more questions for the Pistons. The Pistons may have added the talented Griffin, but they also added another huge contract.
combined cost for Andre Drummond and Blake Griffin:
2017-18: $53.3 million
2018-19: $57.3 million
2019-20: $61.3 million
2020-21: $65.5 million (AD $28.8M player option)
and then Griffin has a $39M PO for 2021-22.
this is legitimately terrifying.

The future looks bright in Los Angeles with Bradley, two draft pics and Harris with what is sure to be a star-studded 2018 free agency. But for the Pistons, they have to make some serious money decisions and they must do so fast.
