Most Anticipated 2018 Movie Releases This Winter
Nothing like the cold burden of winter that will make you want to stay in side. Should you decide to go out and brave the cold but aren’t somewhere you can be outdoorsy, the movies are always a good back up plan. So what movie releases are out this winter? Check out some of the more anticipated films until spring arrives.
Insidious: The Last Key (Jan 5th)- Horror movie junkies will be looking to kick their new year off right with the latest Insidious movie. Now the fourth installment of the franchise and showing no signs of slowing down.
Black Panther (Feb 16th)- If you like Marvel films and aren’t excited for Black Panther. The next big Marvel film could be one of 2018’s best movie releases. Not only has Marvel knocked it out of the park time and time again, but Black Panther has the potential to be one of the more visually stunning movies in their arsenal. Loaded with tremendously talented actors, it should take superheroes to a whole new level. It will also be the last film to set up their game changing Infinity War movie so Marvel could be all in.
Game Night (March 2nd)- Originally set to release in February, Game Night has been pushed back for a March release. From the look of the trailer, Game Night looks to be this generations Scream, a horror/comedy set up by suspense. Hopefully, unlike Scream it doesn’t spawn as many horrible sequels.
A Wrinkle In Time (March 9th) – If a star-studded cast is enough to get you out of your winter thaw, then maybe A Wrinkle in Time is for you. The fantasy/science fiction genre has been slowly fading over the years and genuine stories have failed to pull audiences in. Can this be the film that gets the genre back on track?
Tomb Raider (March 16th) – As excited fans are to see their one of their favorite video game heroines on the big screen it could be troubling. One of the hardest things to do is translate a character from games to movies. Not to mention the film will also be a reboot of the franchise. Tomb Raider might face an uphill battle with critics but fans will be sure to love it.
