New York Jets: Friends in Low Places

You know that feeling when your old best friend moves to a different school, and it is a huge relief. That is until you move to that same school and you have to face them…welcome to The New York Jets current situation. With Jameis Winston having to sit out because of his injury, and Mike Evans serving his one-game suspension for unsportsmanlike conduct in New Orleans last week. So the new look Bucs with Ryan Fitzpatrick taking the helm at quarterback, look to take on his former team in the New York Jets. The new and improved Jets are looking to dominate The Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They can do so by following these key elements.

Running from 813 to 863

Running back Bilal Powell is having somewhat of a homecoming back to Tampa. Powell is from Lakeland, FL (which is 30 minutes away from Tampa) and surely will have friends and family in attendance. Many expect Powell to have a major game. Especially since team doctors are ruling Forte out with a foot injury. The Bucs defense is currently ranked 22nd against the rush. Powell needs to have a big game against this defense to ensure a win this week.

Old Friends, Same Attributes

Everyone knows the love-hate relationship the Jets has with Ryan Fitzpatrick last year. Between the amazing first year he had and then being let down by him falling apart in the last game. To him demanding starter money, and being benched for poor performance last year. However, we know all about Ryan Fitzpatrick and his gunslinger mentality. All the New York Jets have to do is stop it. Put pressure on Fitz and not allow him to make the big play. Then the Jets will put this away easily.

Dancing Fever

With the dancing craze, the Jets did last week against the Bills, the Jets are gaining a lot of hype around the defense. The Jets sit tied for third in takeaways. After having SEVEN sacks last week, the Jets look to continue the dominance this week. With no Winston or Evans, the offense becomes one-dimensional with Doug Martin. The Jets just have to stop the run and force Ryan Fitzpatrick to turn the ball over.

The Jets just need to stay focused and complete the game and win before they can go into the bye week. If the Jets follow the following keys, they could easily win this game. Be sure to look out for the recap of this game afterward. Also, be ready for the Jets to win this game!
