From Matt Riddle To Will Ospreay, Who Should The WWE Target Next?
Who is the next wave of WWE superstars? As the indie scene is full of promising talent, Vince McMahon and Triple H are always on the hunt for exciting new wrestlers for the company. Here’s a top-five list of potential talents for the WWE to go after.
1. Matt Riddle
A former UFC fighter, Riddle is the king of the indie scene. He’s got a ton of charisma and can no doubt work a WWE crowd. Called “The Bro” by his many fans, Riddle has the potential to be a World Champ. What’s best is he’s only just begun his pro wrestling career, so the sky is truly the limit.
2. Keith Lee
Bask in the glory of Keith Lee. The Texas native is one of the most agile big men in the profession today. His matches always include some sort of high acrobatic maneuver, impressive for a man his size. If you need any convincing of his skill, check out his match against new NXT signing, Donovan Dijak, at PWG BOLA 2017.
The gem of the Impact Women’s division, Sienna is on par with Nia Jax and Asuka when it relates to intimidating females in the ring. She’s got a real a nasty streak to her. With the rise of the women’s wrestling, Sienna deserves the attention she rightfully deserves.
4. Ethan Carter III
EC3 was a former member of WWE Development. Then known as Derrick Bateman, he never got the respect of the company. Now he’s one of the best talkers in the business. He’s got the look of a WWE main eventer. Carter has main event written all over him. Vince McMahon will push Carter to the moon.
5. Will Ospreay
Known across the world, Ospreay could be one of the biggest draws in WWE. His matches with wrestlers such as King Ricochet are widely regarded as some of the most entertaining of the last decade. A star in NJPW and WCPW, Ospreay already has quite the following, and will only add to the massive roster of WWE.
