2017 Breeders Cup Sentient Jet Juvenile Predictions

This is the race for all you Kentucky Derby fans out there, that you will want to watch. This is the Juvenile race for 2-year-old Colts and Geldings that will be the front-runners for spots in the Kentucky Derby in May. It is to run at a Mile and a Sixteenth on the Main track. 12 runners will head to the starting gate in this $2,000,000 purse race. Last years winner Classic Empire went on to finish 4th in the Kentucky Derby and 2nd in the Preakness. And 2 years ago Nyquist was the winner and he went on to win the Kentucky Derby. Becoming the 8th unbeaten horse to do so and first since Big Brown in 2008.  So a lot of talent has come out of this race and you can almost guarantee that the winner of this race is a favorite to land in the Derby Field.  Here is this year’s field for the 2017 Breeders Cup Sentient Jet Juvenile.

Summary: US Navy Flag sports 2 straight Grade 1 Victories chose this over the turf, Does he like the dirt is the question. Solomini was beaten badly in the Front Runner against Bolt D’Oro but still had run a great race, it more so speaks to Bolt D’Oro and how talented that horse really is. Firenze Fire ran his best race yet when he sprung the upset in the Champagne but looked like he beat a bunch of horses that didn’t like the distance. Givemeaminit ran well in the maiden race with close third but stretched out and was disappointing. Free Drop Billy he won the Breeders Cup Futurity but his numbers were slow.  Good Magic runner-up to Firenze Fire in the Champagne wasn’t one of the ones who didn’t like the distance but will attempt to get his Maiden win.

The Tabulator bumped his winning streak to 3 in his last race but was really struggling to hit the wire, we will see how this one goes. Bahamian not sure what to get out of this horse, I thought he would go to the lead in the Champagne, instead, he trailed and never looked good. Hazit one of the ones that didn’t like the distance in the Champagne and did beat Good Magic in debut but only because he had an easy comfortable lead. Golden Dragon has won 2 straight but both on turf and with way slow Beyers must improve to just contend. Bolt D’Oro knew he was going to come into his own when he stretched out but the beat down he put on in the Front Runner was impressive definitely the one to beat.  Hollywood Star needs to have a big Beyer to compete just don’t see it happening.
