C-USA Standings Start To Define After Week 4
C-USA had some inner conference matchups that started to shake up the conference standings, along with a Top 25 Team, as well as facing Power 5 conferences. C-USA had a few close games along with some shutouts and some very high scoring games which was proved great for fans in attendance. The reviews for each game are listed below:
Old Dominion 0 @ #13 Virginia Tech 38
Old Dominion attempted to cause the upset against VTech, but VTech was not going to even allow OD to score in their matchup.
Louisiana Tech 16 @ South Carolina 17
LTech was winning this game throughout a majority of the match, yet South Carolina was able to complete the comeback and avoid the upset.
Georgia State 28 @ Charlotte 0
In a game that was hyped up to be all about Charlotte obtaining their first win of the season, yet were once again shut out and still winless.
UAB 43 @ North Texas 46
In an inner-conference shootout, NT and UAB went back and forth all game, but with a late field goal from NT, they managed to extend their winning streak.
Florida Atlantic 31 @ Buffalo 34
FAU was able to go back and forth with Buffalo. With Buffalo stopping FAU in the 4th quarter, Buffalo was able to close out for the win.
Bowling Green 13 @ Middle Tennessee 24
Midd- Tenn was able to dominate the majority of this game and gave Midd-Tenn the upper hand throughout and will adding to their winning streak.
Ball State 21 @ Western Kentucky 33
WKU was able to bounce back after a couple of last-minute losses the past couple of weeks. They bounced back against Ball State and showed flashes of the old WKU Offense.
UT San Antonio 44 @ Texas State 14
UTSA continued their C-USA dominance this year by blowing out Texas State to give them a great record in the C-USA standings.
Florida Intl 13 @ Rice 7
FIU was able to upset Rice and continue to make changes throughout the conference this week. While it was a low scoring game, FIU was able to dominate on both sides of the ball.
UTEP 14 @ New Mexico State 41
UTEP was unable to find their first win as New Mexico State scored early and often making UTEP winless throughout four games of the season.
