C-USA: Recapping the Underwhelming Week Three

With Week 3 having some conference rival matchups, C-USA performed underwhelmingly. The recap for each game is listed below:

Arizona 63 @ UTEP 16
UTEP was able to keep Arizona scoreless on the first quarter. But after that, Arizona’s QB Brandon Dawkins threw SIX TD’s to close out the blowout to UTEP.

Coastal Carolina 23 @ UAB 30
UAB was able to dominate this game with defense having 3 Interceptions on Coastal Carolina, insuring another victory at home.

Florida Intl @ Indiana
Cancelled due to Hurricane Irma

North Texas 14 @ Iowa 31
Iowa overwhelmed North Texas, suffocating the offense and making it unproductive as North Texas loses an out of conference game.

Middle Tennessee 3 @ Minnesota 34
Minnesota shut down Midd Tennessee, causing multiple turnovers and shutting down the offense, along with exposing their defense.

North Carolina 53 @ Old Dominion 23
North Carolina put on an onslaught of offense and put up a multitude of points on Old Dominion.

North Carolina A&T 35 @ Charlotte 31
NCAT was able to get a last minute interception return to take the lead and secure the game, giving Charlotte their third loss of the season.

Bethune-Cookman 0 @ Florida Atlantic 45
FAU obtained their first win of the season, and it was a shutout to open the season with.

Kent State 0 @ Marshall 21
Marshall was able to shut out Kent State, and extend their winning season as Kent State was unable to score at all.

Louisiana Tech 23 @ Western Kentucky 22
LTech was able to steal a win from conference rival WKU, and win this conference game from a last second field goal securing the win.

Southern 17 @ UT San Antonio 51
UTSA was able to continue their winning streak as UTSA was able to demolish Southern in their home game.

Southern Mississippi 28 @ Louisiana Monroe 17
South Miss was able to use a predominantly run heavy offense to wear down and win against Louisiana Monroe.

Rice 3 @ Houston 38
Rice was able to avoid the shutout, but Houston put up numerous amount of yards to hand Rice the loss for this week.
