NFL Trade Rumors: Tampa Bay Buccaneers should pursue LeSean McCoy

Waking up this morning, I roll over to my phone vibrating and flashing vibrant colors to announce to me that LeSean McCoy and Tyrod Taylor may currently be involved in a deal by the Buffalo Bills. While I could go on a tirade of where Tyrod Taylor should and could go, this is all about why LeSean McCoy should be traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It seems as if the Buffalo Bills have their eyes on the future. This was confirmed once Sammy Watkins and Ronald Darby were traded away from this offseason. So when hearing that the Bills may possibly be shopping Taylor and Shady, it honestly came as no surprise. However, it immediately sparked an amazing trade in my mind for both the Bills and Shady.

Trading McCoy to the Bucs, for a 4th round pick is a win-win-win. That’s a win for all three parties involved, mainly because each party gets what they want. The Bills will be able to release hold of Shady, whom recently did not speak kindly over the current Bills roster and front office. However, by getting rid of him, they allow themselves to gains draft picks for their ongoing rebuild towards the future.

Next, the Buccaneers will be receiving a dominant running back who still has plenty of miles left on his tires. While the Bucs are currently stockpiled with Martin, Sims, and Rodgers, adding McCoy would only increase their playoffs chances. Not only that, but DeSean Jackson and LeSean McCoy played together with the Philadelphia Eagles and proved to be quite the pair.

Finally, the last party to win their side of the deal is well, McCoy. As mentioned above, McCoy would be reuniting with his good friend Jackson, along with joining a very stacked offense led by Jameis Winston. But the best part of this trade for Shady is that he would have the potential of making a Super Bowl run before the end of his career.

If the Bills are actually shopping McCoy, you can bet that the Bucs and Bills have already touched bases and are in contact with each other attempting to work out a deal. This deal would really improve all three parties involved and could be another major trade before the beginning of the regular season this year.
