NBA Trade Rumors: Rajon Rondo and the Milwaukee Bucks are perfect fit

With the NBA Trade Deadline approaching the NBA Trade Rumors mill is buzzing loudly with reports that the Chicago Bulls and Rajon Rondo might wish to part ways. Rondo was brought in during the offseason to pair with Dwyane Wade and Jimmy Butler but so far the season has been a disappointment. The Bulls are floating around the .500 mark when they should be challenging the Cleveland Cavaliers for top honors.

While the team has struggled some, Rondo has begun to show his frustrations. He’s been benched, but what has hurt the most is his reduction in minutes. Rondo was once labeled as one of the top 5 PGs in the NBA but since coming to Chicago, it seems that his heart is not in it. With two talented players in Wade and Butler, one would expect Rondo’s numbers to be more that seven points, six rebounds and seven assists. That’s a considerable drop in production for a player that led the league in assists last season with far less talent by his side.

The issue with Rondo is well, Rondo. He’s a headache but no one has tried to fix it. Doc Rivers and the Boston Celtics held it in check, the Dallas Mavericks just gave up and with the Kings, he was almost invisible for some reason. But, Rondo and Fred Hoiberg are not seeing eye-to-eye and Rondo wants out.

What are the Bulls to do? Do you trade him and hope for a good return or do you keep him and hope that Butler and Wade can remedy the situation?

If the Bulls do decide to let him go, Rondo should hope that it’s the Milwaukee Bucks that takes a gamble. The Bucks are young, athletic and are in dire need of a playmaker. They do not need a scorer and Rondo’s talents will blend in well with this team. You can also add to the fact that he will be coached by PG legend, Jason Kidd and that may just be what a player like Rondo needs. His actions scream attention and what better way than to learn from one of the greatest?

Wade is up there in age but pairing Rondo with the LeBron James-clone, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jabari Parker and Khris Middleton will give the Bucks a lineup that no coach could screw up. But, what will the Bucks be willing to give up for Rondo? The Bulls are in need of frontcourt help. A Greg Monroe and Rondo swap will work for both teams.

It seems that the Bulls may be looking to hit the reset button with rumors of a possible Butler trade circulating as well. The team still can make up ground as we have not hit the All-Star break yet but it seems that the front office is in full panic mode now. A Rondo move may not be what’s best for the Bulls but it will definitely benefit the Bucks if they can pull this off.

No need for the Bulls to keep a player that doesn’t want to be there. We’ve seen this before with Rondo. It will get ugly before it gets better. He needs to go.

F Rondo! Used to love him. Last thing I want on my young all potential bucks team is that cancerous idiot! Rondo only can save his career with Doc. No thanks in Milwaukee! Keep that cancer out
